Maybe Roczen will show up, he's an American citizen!

I’m not sure why this keeps coming up lately. A lot of chatter at red bud also about no Americans on the overall podium. Two of our fastest guys are out with injury. One of them is in the twilight of his career. The other doesn’t seem to gel with whatever bike he’s on and arguably at times has the filling of a Twinkie for a brain while racing. Personally I love rooting for riders and families that risked it all to come here from their home country, assimilate, work their asses off, find success, and end up saying on the podium “we love it here”. That is 100% what America was always about and as far as I’m concerned people like that are as American as anyone born here.

I watched ONE American who waved the flag BUT dodges the MXDN every year.........

It’s because he is not getting paid to do it.

If given enough penalty positions, Marchbanks or Hampshire could do it.

And he broke his collarbone when he was riding like a douche at the SMX finale, trying to take out Shimoda.

He literally had surgery on his wrist.

And the mental midgets that claim to be "mature adults" have lost control of their emotions in another thread 🤣

Im not a huge Deegan fan but I love how bad the single mention of his name just completely fucks with so many people here.

Post it.

Post one place where he claimed he had a sprained wrist that took a week to heal, and not that he had surgery to remove protruding screws.

Ya'll call HIM a douche but then just make shit up.

LOL, you just humiliated Axlnut with like five minutes of Google research. And remember that Doucheboy said that he had to skip the MXdN the next year to have hardware removed from his wrist injury the prior off-season? Hardware? For a wrist sprain that cost him a week of practice in the off-season? Bullshit.

Broken shoulder? Really just a collarbone that got plated and kept him off the bike a few days in the off-season.

Again, Doucheboy can't keep his lies straight.

Deegan and Kitchen should both be in the fight for the win and easily on the podium. Maybe Ryder D too he’s starting to hit his stride

"five minutes of Google research"

It's the first video shown, if you search YouTube with "Deegan wrist injury", it took less than 10 seconds!

That makes your dunk on Axlnut (and Doucheboy) even more impressive. Well done.

Can you put a USA rider on the podium, yes, he can interveiw the Lawrences and Coenens. He could ask them what its like to be a winner.

Meanwhile RC is reading this thread and told his wife to HOLD HIS BEER.

A quick AI search shows him practicing jumps, hitting ramps and tearing up the White House lawn for cripes sake.

I can hear the “Rocky” theme song already.   🇺🇸🤷🏿‍♂️😎

It's mentioned often by moto 'media' that Brian and Donger won't go unless they're paid. Sounds really patriotic..

Wanted to get the record straight I have hardware in my wrist that needs to be taken out after Smx and will have to heal, so the team has made the decision

I dunno man, I feel like prioritising money over all else is pretty American 😂

The kid literally said if Eli goes I will go. At that point Eli had said no….however Eli ended up going and then he uses the surgery excuse. It was removing a screw. Shit takes 2 weeks max to heal

It’s so funny to constantly see the Deegan camp play the ‘tough guy’ role yet have the thinnest skin in the game. On yesterday’s pulp show Randy said Brian called him a shit talking hater because of this hilarious post. For an entire family that has based their life around social media, you would think they would understand it comes with some of this stuff.

When you’ve been a long, LONG time mx fan, you remember the days when “first American” was a friggin big deal. You also remember the days when Americans absolutely dominated the MXoN and when it seemed like we were invincible. Now that we’re back to watching the rest of the world take our titles and prizes, there should be no surprise when some of us question it. We’re not saying those fast foreigners don’t deserve their flowers (as the kids say, lol), we just want to be back on top.

Don’t get me wrong I’d love nothing more than an American rider to be back on top as well, it just seems to be getting blown up more lately. It’s cyclical, and eventually a US rider will dominate. Who it would be matters to me though. I loved the RD, RV, ET type rider. Work, win, and shut up…let your riding do the talking. .Unfortunately I don’t see anyone that fits that criteria I can get behind at the moment so I just enjoy the riders that do that from other places.
