Just going to state the obvious and take the heat for it..... but this is why you don't rush back from a concussion in a sport that requires extreme focus and precision and where being even slightly off can have catastrophic consequences. Not a great idea for a football player either but there's not an extensive list of football players who have died or been paralyzed playing the game.

I guess one thing that bothers me. As an airline pilot, we know fairly precisely when storms with lightning are forecast to come across an airport and we adjust for it. As a bare minimum they needed to tell the riders this could likely happen if they weren’t willing to start earlier. Chase got within 2.5ish? seconds. Maybe he is thinking, second place is as good as first in this moto, so the risk of trying to catch Jett is not worth it. He looked like he settled for second at a point with a couple of laps left. I’m...

I got to sit on my couch in my own living room and watch some of the fastest riders in the world race today. It was complimented with split screens and drone footage. All this for the low subscription price of Peacock. I was a little disappointed that I didn't get to see two motos, but what the heck I'm not a 3 year old that will throw a tantrum when it's time to go home from the park. Thank you Feld, MX Sports, AMA, Peacock, and all the others that make this possible.

I hope you're right. My gut says we see a return of the tuck. Kawi HA is 1.5' more slack (choppered) from KTM. I think swingarm is a link shorter too. Thats less weight on the front. Chase is taller and rides a bit rearward compared to somebody shorter. That unweights the front. All Japanese bikes are similar in that HA. Again, hope I'm wrong. Eli - i think he's gonna be amazing on the KTM. Same reasons.

When I think back to the 2003 CR250 setup that RC rode with (and shudder) and won with, the contrast is pretty stark. I know the speeds are higher, skill levels are more elite, bikes have more parity, but geez. This just strikes me as a guy that never really learned how to set up a bike well (relying heavily on Cairoli), and spent his entire career on one brand, developing an extremely specific "feel" that he'll never achieve on the Kawi. Couple that with the fact that he's changed every single variable in his life simultaneously, and he obviously...

Thats what I'm saying man. It's kinda how it goes online but to look at what happens for an hour on saturday and think we know the full story is kinda.. silly. I also think Prado is one of the more intelligent riders. He seems very intellectually present in his interviews - I'm not thinking he's too stupid to get this going or too short sighted to consider the future. With that in mind, I'm thinking if he leaves, we're going to see a guy who either publicly hung himself and ruined his career or he knows something some of...

This is the most balanced take and I'm not sure why nobody agrees. Nobody has any idea what goes on during the week. Prado is a b2b world champ so it stands to reason he can really grit stuff out and get a bike setup. We know tomac had a tough time there and that team really hasnt done much since the '24 came out. Heck maybe I'm crazy but is it at all possible that Jorge is telling the truth and the bike is genuinely a problem and he's not going to go right back to the couch and...

No, he said setting the bike up and developing new parts for Febvre is easy because they know what he likes at this point. He said it takes more time to do that for new riders as they have to learn their likes/dislikes. They start with a neutral setup (not Febvre’s) and adjust from there.

AP had to drop out, chase was out, Anderson was out, Webb too. Kenny didnt race. This could have easily been a lot worse.

Pretty sure thats in the cards. I saw a youtube that says our universe is going into a black hole. That must be why shit is so bizarre these days. Event horizon just stretching reality thin.

His dad needs to kick his ass tbh. What a bad look for an incredibly talented rider. Go get a sports psychologist

Still backing the guy He’d rather be honest and not be laid out injured 99% of you on here angrily typing away could not achieve what he has in a hundred lifetimes, I’m genuinely baffled why it bothers you all so much You complain when riders are not transparent You complain when riders say & do exactly what they’re feeling Keep doing you Prado, trust yourself & see you on the podium next year 🫡

Dude Tomac recently got both holeshots for the first time in his career. His starts have improved greatly. I think it’s just Eli seeing the season out safely, he had 3rd on lock and nothing to gain. Motivation won’t be a problem at MXdN, especially on home soil.

The respect stops when he repeatedly quits during races, shit talks his employer, and shit talks his team. That may be acceptable in Europe, but to Americans none of that is acceptable. I am beginning to believe it is a cultural thing. In America, if you are hired for a job, you damn well do it to the best of your ability, no matter what. I guess in Europe, not so much. Ultimately, he was hired to sell bikes, and he simply does not give a single solitary shit about doing that despite his large salary. The man cannot make...
