How tall are you? I thought the seat was a smidge low and I'm < 6'. I'd actually pay a little more for a kickstarter. E-start adds nothing but weight and opportunities for failure (dead battery, loose terminals, broken button/wires, starter clutch wear).

I don't want to quote the post because there's a bunch of photos attached to it, but that picture of Reed above with the finish line banner behind him is absolutely iconic. I'm probably biased because that's the era I grew up in but that has to be one of the cleanest factory setups to this day.

In MX I don't care about country of origin. Just want good racing and riders that respect the U.S.A. Thats all I watched at Red Budd. I watched ONE American who waved the flag BUT dodges the MXDN every year.........

Why am I so bummed if he retires

I really wanted to see him race a few more..even if he's rolling around in the middle to back (though I still think If he could get some momentum going he could be towards the front half). The next few years are going to be rough with all my favs retiring...

Austin is 27 yrs old.. in moto I'd think everyone wants to race the premier class before they retire... even though he wasn't fast this year, I'm glad he got some chances to line up in the premier class... he was gonna get smoked in either class... at least he finally got to race a 450 for a few rounds...

That guy should be on a Triumph 450 in the US shaking hands, waving, and being British on a British bike, with an already established US fan base. Missed opportunity for Triumph IMO. I'd put Max a c-hair ahead of Jordon.

Triumph should give Forkner another year IMO. They screwed him by having him race the 450. I feel like they owe him that.

When does TLD Ducati start their 250 side of things? Where does Forkner end up? A BarX Yamaha would maybe do him some good, or ClubMx with Reed out there helping.

This topic is broad and pertains to the birthplace of California motocross. Well, Carlsbad should be mentioned, but Saddleback was the premier location. I was never that fast, nor was I a former mini star, but I still take great pride in my accomplishments as an 80cc Novice class racer. For example, the Saturday CRC 45 minute motos were radical.
