Corona Raceway Friday nights were always way too much fun. Dark, muddy, rubber band starts... But who can remember the Corona GP's? Racing through the hills in Corona was a feeling you had to experience to describe. Standing in front of your bike, with it off, and watching the flag drop.... what a way to start a race. Those were some of the best races. Especially the team race in the afternoon. Every time I drive by Corona Raceway off the 91 Fwy and I see all those houses all across the track, I wonder if the people living there...

Very cool. Was talking about Bruce the other day with Chris down at Ace Mufler. I mentioned watching some of the videos on you tube in 1984-86. No Bruce, No Rick. It's a good picture of that first turn. That part of the track looked much different during big events. From no woops to 3 big woops, muddy and hard. Funny you mention the back sections of the park. Happy Birthday Bruce! Be would have been 45 today. Not sure when Rick kr Kyle were born, I'd like to honor them as well. All these KX80s in the pic are pretty ironic.
