Dude left Star after one of the most dominant seasons from a team in the sport, for WSX 😭🤦‍♂️

That guy should be on a Triumph 450 in the US shaking hands, waving, and being British on a British bike, with an already established US fan base.

Missed opportunity for Triumph IMO. I'd put Max a c-hair ahead of Jordon.

Mega PR for sure..  But it looks like AP is going to be on the Triumph and is Smith signed for another year?

Max would be a great fit...

Triumph should put Max on a 250 for west coast and a 450 for east coast.

"I get no results whatsoever so they were gonna kick me out anyways and by the way, I really can't stand the little punk anymore!"

Wait. 45 minutes for that? Man, that's a lot of sugarcoating...

Feeling like star is starting to lose it... their 450 program is based on one rider who cant win and they keep screwing over 250 riders... what goes around will come back around sooner or later...

I feel that saying their "450 program is based on one rider who cant win" is a bit harsh. Their one guy is in 3rd place against two riders that at this point might be the two best riders on the planet. Only so much any of the teams and riders can do against Hondas 450 program right now.

The 250 program absolutely seems like a meat grinder though but they still have Davies for now.

Pretty sure Davies will be locked and loaded for their 450 program as well, idk how that will sit with Deegz tho cuz Davies will be a beast in 450 SX.

Pulp appears to not believe the mutually parting ways part of this.

That was the longest 20 minute interview ever.

I guess he has no desire to do the SMX races?

So did Max burn the bridge with Yarive when he quit them to go to Star?

Does he do WSX as a wildcard rider or on a team like Rick Ware? On what brand?

If he gets the second 250 spot at Triumph for next year does that mean he has to do MX too? He clearly said he does not want to race a 250 outdoors again.

Appendix talk was interesting.

Thanks for the interview Lewis.

He will always be Jake Weimer, only a little better.  He can't ride whoops and that had held him back 100%

His starts haven't been the same since going juicy clutch, I bet we see him back on cable before SMX

You know Deegan can't win after 4 races?

The 250 guys don't exactly help themselves when they're always hurt.

Max would be a great fit...

Mutual parting= they were going to cut him, and he was ready to leave anyways

Triumph would be a solid fit for him. He could replace one of the existing 250 riders for the sx regionals and fill Haruups 450 mx seat. I think the team would be better served loading the 450 class with AP smith and a 3rd guy vs trying to load the 250 class unless they have a solid top 5 threat

The Deegan machine said he has to go.  Max knows what's up and like the grown man he is he just said to hisself, "Next".  Love ya man.

They're in different trucks,  riding in different classes. You're grabbing a random theory out of the air.

So is Tedder paying star for letting webb do first round of WSX? That seems to be the big hang up here.

Max mentioned JB is his agent. Seems like the move back to quad lock would make sense if not too many hurt feelings there. Max is getting old, couple years on the JB program to finish it out seems like a better fit than him at star.

Incase you weren't aware, 3rd place is still not winning.

I've said this before - but rode that FirePower Honda like it was custom made just for him. Stepping out to go to Star seemed like a weird move from the jump. I feel like the clash of egos within Star have been brewing for a year or 2.
