I gotta say, bike looks good from the limited feedback yet out there. Not "revolutionary", but just damn good. Early reviews: KTM power delivery, Honda ergos, Yamaha suspension, neutral handling, excellent finish and parts detail. How can anyone find fault with that?

A cross between an Austrian bike and a Honda sounds just about perfect, rider triangle wise that is. This bike really spikes my interest and I surly hope they eventually release a 350.

There's a significant marketing spin to some of the engineering changes they've made to the 2024.5 (2025+) chassis... For 2023 they took what was a well designed bearing and seal configuration on the previous generation bikes and made all the bearings the same size (and bigger), likely for cost/inventory reduction. Because of this, the entire knuckle got bigger, as did the bolts. This resulted in a much heavier linkage assembly. I made the same switch you’re contemplating, went from a 22 350sxf to a 23 crf250r. plusses and minuses, and no perfect answer as to the perfect bike, I’ve found out. for reference, I’ve owned an 18 fc350, 20 450 sxf, 21 crf450r, 22 350 sxf and now the 23 250r, over the last five years or so. Medium speed 49 yo vet, about 190 pounds. I loved many things about the Austrian 350’s (and 450), but the big turn off for me was the vibration. My hands were numb after 5 laps on all my Austrian bikes I listed...

I'm gonna be honest and I don't blame you if you don't like this opinion, but something about Gas Gas just turns me off. Maybe it's because of the fact that it's marketed as the "stripped down" version of the Husky and KTM. Gas Gas just seems "made in China" to me. I'm not even sure why that's just the vibe the bike gives me. Whenever I find out someone I know from the track has switched to Gas Gas I am disappointed

If the video is accurate in stating that the bike has Nissin brakes, then something hinky is definitely going on. There's no way the new Ducati motocross bike should be running anything but Brembo brakes. It would be like Michael Jordan wearing Adidas. It's either clever subterfuge, or we're all about to find out we got brand new socks for Christmas. In other words - a major disappointment.
