Lewis is the only journalist who I feel like could adequately grill the decision makers on this. He needs to get all people who were involved in making this decision in front of a camera immediately and start asking questions. This is seriously insane that no penalties are being handed out. I like Pierce on a personal level and am happy for him, so this isn’t about my favorite rider not winning. It’s about consistency with the rules and fairness for all riders.

There's been a number of calls that ive seen over the years that aren't cut and dry, this situation couldn't be more clear. You dont jump on a red light, Pierce jumped on a red light... What the actual F is so hard to understand, the AMA just has to follow their rules. The rules that dont say, "Do not jump on a red light.. unless you know, you think it's ok".

what the actual F*CK!!! Clear as fing day. Honda has had more red flag violations against them than any other team (I believe) and ate the penalties. Clearly this should benefit them, right fully so and then this?? I wonder if the betting has something to do with it, effecting payouts that already happened perhaps so not rocking that boat? Bull shit either way as it is clear as day.

So jumping on a red cross light is less of an infraction than failing post race sound check, even if it’s caught on video from multiple angles. Absolutely absurd.

Deegan is obviously riding great but this class is trash right now. Its literally just deegan and kitchen and this is the first time kitchen hasnt crashed out on the start all season. It had the potential to be better with kitchen, anstie, crashadoo, but theyre riding like shit. Hopefully the west is more like the 450’s where ppl are actually riding good. At least this night was better, kitchen actually started in front of last place.

Not even 3 races back, and he’s been messing up peoples laps in qualifying, ignoring blue flags. Tonight he took out Mitchell Harrison for 19th and when Harrison confronted him, Friese brought them back to the rig claiming they can “talk” there before deciding to charge and swing at Harrison. Not to mention, he took out Forkner on the first lap as well and cut Roczen off on the start in the heat race. No doubt Deegan will do worse if he continues to go unchecked. He already broke Schock's collarbone, tried to injure Kitchen and Shimoda at SMX, and his crossjump last week on McAdoo could've been much worse. I find it interesting that everyone accepts motocross is a dangerous sport with these inherent risks, and Deegan can go out there and cause injury, but anyone who says he deserves it back is going too far.

He already did twice at the end of last year. Once by Levi, which took him out of the running for SMX by crossing 20 ruts to blow him off the track, then once by Jo-San, who big dicked him and infuriated Haiden to the point where he broke his own collarbone.

The pass wasn’t insanely dirty but it just wasn’t needed in the 2nd round. Imagine all the good battles we would miss if everyone did the same thing. The back and forth between Roczen and Eli wouldn’t exist. I’m all for making that pass for the championship. Deegan didn’t want Max to get 2nd he wanted the red plate back by taking him out.
