Didn’t take the time to read the entire thread here but what I will say is what I see so often in sports especially this sport. Your results and success in your sport should never be held above your character. There’s been more than a few great racers some past, some current that people turn a blind eye to because they can rip on a dirtbike. If Jason did indeed do what he’s been accused of well then I’m out.

Unless there's video, or multiple witnesses with the same story, we won't ever know what happened, including whether his wife's side of the story is true, false, minimized or exaggerated, and that happens too often. Whether he ever races again is secondary.

That's not a full report, that's an arrest affidavit which only needs to cover the elements needed to show probable cause for the arrest. Based on your response, I'm assuming you obviously know the difference. So what you said is odd to me. From what I gathered there is video of the "battery" on his wife, which is absolutely enough for arrest. Those of us who have raced an amateur day on a VERY dumbed-down version of the racetrack know that it would be a bad idea to let amateurs out on the full SX track. I'd say B class at Loretta's or faster just to be able to ride laps.

That might be true, but when you do get that call, you have to know that your team is fully capable. If you don't have confidence they'll be able to perform, you can't really do the job. That said, I do think the length of time the doc put him off for seems excessive. I mean really excessive. Thing is, none of us know how he's healing, what the doc has done for followup, etc... In my case, My collarbone was fully healed in 6 weeks. It hurt for about 6 more weeks after I went back to work, but...

I got hurt at a motocross track. One thing we all need to agree on. We don't say where we got hurt. If you go to the ER say you fell down while fishing or anything but motocross because the insurance can go after the track. I intend to turn more laps at that track!
