8/10/2023 3:08pm I know there are a couple of people inside OEM and amateur programs that would like to see Supermini classes go away, and just replace them with 85 big wheels. We're the only one that really races Superminis, they don't bother with it in Europe, or other major country series. They're very, very expensive to operate and practice on. It's near impossible to fund running a year on them unless you have serious help. I was talking to the dad of one of the Supermini title kids and he mentioned they were lucky to get 10 hours out of a...

8/10/2023 3:07pm Listened to Weege’s pod yesterday, and I couldn’t agree more with his point about the classes being all fucked up these days. There is way too many of them, they separate the talent so much that we really have no idea who the best is at any level at the ranch anymore. IMO we need to cut a bunch of them, forcing the talent to show what they can do against different aged riders and on different sized bikes. For example, if there was only 1 Mini Sr class, 1 super mini, and 1 125 schoolboy, then those riders wouldn’t...

6/14/2023 7:38am It's not just the grates, it's everything to do with starting combined. This is how i look at at. The grates reduce separation between the riders, everyone is coming off the same surface with 100% traction. The start devices stop the front wheel coming up meaning riders can accelerate harder off the line. Riders have rpm lights so they know the exact revs to dump the clutch at Bikes have start maps to ensure the engine is at its optimum throughout the start procedure. Put all of these factors together and you have more riders getting to the first turn...

4/18/2022 7:15am We take failures of any kind very seriously. There are three types of failures to think about: 1) Failure due to crash - This is going to happen no matter who makes the parts. If you crash hard enough, something is going to break. Simple as that. Sure, we can engineer parts like a tank. They'd never break, but you'd be riding around on a tank! That's no good. In the quest for the lightest parts available that still preform well, you're going to get some failures from crashes. Often times if the part breaks because of a crash, the...
