When he was talking to pulp he said 1 of the reasons he left bakers was the cost. He thought he knew what he needed and could take the program else where for free. When shit went sideways ktm/decoster wanted him back to bakers. He said he wasn't going back if he had to pay. He ended up getting ktm to pay bakers cost out of their pocket. This is Such a joke. Yeah, he has had some high-profile washouts. Mentally he is tough. The guy is literally in the discussion of the best in the sport with Herlings and Tomac. And on many days, he's probably the best. After seeing his speed and fitness last summer He's obviously in phenomenal shape, has the win or is pissed attitude and makes few mistakes but when he does, he makes zero excuses. If anything, he has added value to his worth since last summer. Can't believe I wasted my time reading this and then responded.

At this point if you are one of these guys talking negative about him iN any fashion you’re just a douche of the royal order. I can’t believe people are actually nitpicking that he’s had years of practice. No shit? I thought all these guys just picked this up as a lark a year ago. CR’s 17th was as a kid visiting in a one off race on a borrowed practice bike, and the 6, 5, 8 was in the premier class straight up as a part timer in his first year in the US. Everyone else’s results are on 125s. His real rookie results in 125/250f SX was 1,1,1,1,1,1,2. Imagine Vialle coming in and doing that now? But Reed wasn’t a world champion and was years younger…. Regardless none of it means much because every rider takes a different path and peaks at different times.

I can’t stand Deegan. I’m a Lawrence fan boy. but Damm! The kid can ride! He’s shown his maturity with not pushing and letting the races come to him. The speed is there. Just comes with time and adjustment. He shouldnt have pressure to win. Sitting 3rd in points, consistent rides a little luck. The title could swing his way if he keeps riding the way he has.
