Thrasher screwed that one up all by himself. Should have held that inside better. Great ride by Hunter though.

I don’t think he could of taken the inside, he just overshot it and couldn’t turn early enough.

Lappers did screw him but then he totally botched the last corner. Nate still should have blocked the inside.

The Tampa crowd did not seem to like the winner when Blair tried to hype up Hunter to them.

Hunter, you legend! My god that rear sliding full lock with lean angle into the last corner and keeping it on two wheels while making the pass was absolutely insane!

That slide was equal parts luck and skill.

Wow, Hunter's neighbors hate him.

Hunter had to go through the same lappers…and pass Thrasher after that.

no excuses, it’s the faster persons job to make passes.

He didn't finish but had already lapped up to 15th. Hope it's mechanical and he's not hurt again. If anyone needs a good season it's him

Only two rounds in but Deegan sitting third in points is super impressive. Considering most of the fast guys in this class have a reputation of being checkers or wreckers a little consistency will go a long way for him over the length of the series.

What happened to Smith? He was running well but finished 15th and 2 laps down? Dropped from 2nd to 9th in points.

Screwed both pretty hard. All I kept thinking was “there’s a race, and y’all aren’t in it.”

Nate was way off on that last lap...  Not taking anything from Hunter, but that 55+ second lap gave it away.

He lost time in 4 of 5 sectors.

That was a helluva Main.

Weren’t some of the nay-sayers telling us that 250 East was gonna be a bore? Laughing

Seemed to me like he was going too fast trying to outdrag Hunter after the sand to make that inside

no excuses, it’s the faster persons job to make passes.

Anybody that's raced knows lappers are almost always harder for the leader.  Once the leader comes through, the lappers tend to give way easier to the next riders coming through.  Just the way it goes most of the time.   Nate should have rode better just as he admitted. Congrats to Hunter.

I was yelling at the lappers on TV.  Would have loved to see how it shook out without lappers in the way.  Very well could have been the same outcome.  Great racing regardless.
