Even if he does, in 4 years he'll be 21.

Jett is 19.

I don’t think we’ll see a really competitive battle between them until Haiden is in the 450 class

Jett is a phenomena all to himself. Whether that will be realized, who can say, but I’ve never seen this level of confidence and hype around someone coming into the pro ranks. It was even different than with Stewart. I’m not sure what to make of it, but this particular level of attention is somehow unique to Jett Lawrence from what I’ve seen.

"Coming into the pro ranks"  Dude, he has four titles, and will probably have five in a few months. He beat all of the 450 pros in the world in a moto last summer. If Jett retired this summer his name would still be remembered as one of the greats.

Compare them both to RC’s first SX then compare all of them to Bradshaw’s first SX.  None of it means much

It's OK, the longer your in the sport, you will see so many before him have done the same. ET3 winning his first ever race he enter, is way more impressive than  heat race win in my opinion.

No I agree, I’m just saying Jett’s “bankability” with Honda and within the sport seems to have reached a new height.

The amount of top tier talent when Jett entered the scene was much greater. Also he was on the Geico bike, not on the same level as the Star bike back then.

Not down playing Haiden because he did just win a Heat lol.

You can't compare the two unless they start at the SAME time. Tracks, competition and pressure are different.

Riders jerseys at auction.

I think it kinda gives the idea of each riders value to a fan.

Ya but Jett doesn't have a rich and famous Dad! The middle age "Anger Boys" are on the verge of an aneurysm right now.

Compare their relative SX track experience at debut.

Jett, practically zero.

Haiden, half his life.

But Jett is generational Wink

Haiden just worked a 2x world champ on a track with sand last night. It was basically lommel SX

I hope I'm wrong and I'm certainly getting way ahead of myself but unless Deegan changes the way he rides, I don't see a great transition to the 450.  Hangs it out and uses ALOT of energy the way he rides.  I know it's his first couple races, but you can look back all the way to 65's and see the same thing.  Jett has the flawless technique using very little extra energy when he rides which in my opinion is going to make him dangerous (Good) on a 450.  A very small percentage of guys in the past have made the "hang it out" technique work on the 450

Why is Herlings dodging Deegan by not racing 250 SX?!

I know you're playing around, but Herlings isn't allowed to race 250SX according to the rulebook.

Check out point C.

Haiden did great and is leading his graduation class. The Jett vs Haiden data are facts but the conclusions are debatable on what a quick start gets you long term at the peak elite, multiple championship winning level.

Good to see Haiden living up to the hype and hope he gets a podium and win this year. I think he's got it in him.

So Haiden is 17 right, so has 2 years to win 2 outdoor titles and baring disaster this year for Jett win 2 sx titles and move up to 450 full time to match achievements.
