Yeah, I fucking read it. You just don’t know the reason between and explanation and an excuse. All he said was he didn’t race as close to the front as he wanted to. The reason for that was that he has his suspension set up to stiff. That’s NOT an excuse. That’s simply and explanation. Once you get past kindergarten in school, you will learn more. I'm going to record a video in a bit on it, but it was an experience that's for sure...we had an eventful day. $3,000US plus $3,600 in parts. I had a very pleasant conversation with Derek yesterday evening. He called me, just FYI. I honestly believe that he had very limited info on what he was selling me. When you run a fair sized shop, and you hold things for years, you may be unaware of what the true condition of a bike might be. I’m sure that this will all be worked out in some way. Yes, the bike was a total POS when received and a true disappointment to me, but it will be brought back to life soon. Thanks again...

To wrap things up, let me just say this... Derek is a nice guy and I'm pretty sure that he has guys in his shop that he thought were going through the bike before it left (or even when he first purchased the bike?) It was mentioned at sale time that the bike would be gone over. I'm guessing it wasn't. Here's my bottom line: I'm a very fortunate person. I can take a pounding on this bike and learn a great deal from the experience. My buddy, Eric, and I are literally examining every square inch of this thing...
