Man this was a roller coaster 😅 I've been in the powersports industry most of my adult life and only had a run in with a small handful of customers with this type of attitude the OP is showing. I had a customer last year buy a new ATV and after a few hours of riding he noticed a small oil leak. He came in fired up saying "I want my money back!" "I want a new ATV". Our poor service guy tried calming him down reassuring him we'll take care of it but he didn't want to hear it...

This thread makes me wonder how you acted towards the poor service writer who has no involvement besides making a case and saying they wont buy it back and you have to wait for parts. I feel bad for the dealer at this point.

Ok, 1.Fix it and ride it. 2. Fix it and sell it. 3. Sue and try to get a buy back. Sounds like #1 is your best choice. I would go with #2 and take the big $ hit. #3 is years and $$$. Not a smart move. Good luck. Ps. Nobody gives a rats ass about how fast you are.

Wow. You never even rode a national hey. Nobody cares how fast you are, or where, on your dirt bike. BTW this thread is now helping Triumph more than its hurting them.

So they are fixing your bike under warranty/recall, but you started a thread about how they wont buy it back on Vital? Yep. Pretty simple stuff, I agree. Can't believe you have it so wrong. I think you answered my curiosity. Thanks.

Maybe you should "break out the clippings" and send them to Triumph when they realise who they are dealing with , maybe they will immediately do the buy-back you want ( Please don't post the "clippings" here, I don't think you will get many positive comments)

Its been a while since we've had a proper thread here! I just wish Sean would keep posting.

I'm not saying that I would buy one. Just that the way this guy is posting is making him look like a major dick instead of hurting Triumph more. There is enough info out there that points to them being a risky bike to buy and this thread repeats some of the same info and then adds on a person who sounds super intitled and insults other posters who are offering help. I'm honestly in shock that he is as old as he is. I was expecting him to be a 16 year old kid who has had his parents...

Well , I still want a triumph at some point. The factory bikes have already won a British MX & enduro championship, and they are currently 1st & 2nd in the MX2 world championship, so Triumph CAN build a good factory bike, they just need to sort the hit or miss quality control of these early production bikes.

I wanna know how you "justify" Jett leaving all that money on the table in SMX? And no I don't want to fight you irl. You sound big and strong.

Once again, you are proving your inability to read the room. People likely wouldn't say it to your face, not because they are scared, but simply out of politeness. However, if you were to vocalise your current, unadjusted , view out loud despite being presented with real evidence since the race, rest assured, I would say it to your face. Surely you don't mind someone voicing an alternative opinion to yours, back to you? We don't have to be internet "heroes" to actually stand by our point of view.

That says a lot more about you than it does about Jett...

He had all of that frikkin hardware in there and got back to riding after like 3 months and still smoked everyone but Hunter? Wtf. And I thought coming back from the ACL last year was crazy.. Dude is an alien. Hopefully he stays healthy for a couple years now, he missed so much in a just a couple years.

I thought at first it was an ad for Racetech Titanium when I saw the hardware removed.🤣🤣🤣
