With Stew's wrist there's no way he could ride without them. I'm in the same boat; they are lifesavers for people with wrist or hand/arm issues. I have them on all of my MTBs and my streetbike...lol. You get used to them pretty quick, and the occasional ride on something w/o them quickly reminds me why....

That's not even remotely true, there are multiple ways they can detect cheating, that's why I'm curious to see which (if any) method the FIM is using in this case. The easiest method would probably be to require data logging that is then turned in to the FIM after the race, it would be very easy to see if max allowable current was exceeded for an appreciable length of time. You have to allow for some small current spikes that will far exceed the allowable limit for instances like jump landings for hitting whoops, any time the rear wheel goes...

Yesterday-evening…”the good stuff” (the nerve block) finally wore off…completely. As many have commented, WHOA! Just like I went thru with my ankle in April…”Here comes The Pain!” Had that 1st night of pain management. Tried…was hopeful…that a 5mg Oxy would do the trick. Nope! Ended up at 10mg. So far, so good. Eventually got caught up on my sleep via some of those good’ol afternoon naps. 🤣 I really appreciate all the input and the opportunity to get “hands-on experience” from my fellow moto-heads.

I had 3 different Ortho’s that didn’t prescribe knee braces for anything beyond rehab and therapy. Seems that my knee stability and strength were really good; but, due to the DNA handed down to me over the years…I’m as bow-legged as a ol’school rodeo champion. 🤣 And that combined with knee injuries going back to the ‘80s had taken it’s toll. I'm scheduled for 11/11 to get both done. Had a hip done in July and it feels great. Hoping the knees come out as good.

Good luck! My dad and other family members have had knee replacements and it turned out so well they all wished they’d done it earlier.

Red Bull KTM has been running that since late Supercross this year. Yes, it’s for sound and part of their push to get their bike under the incoming 109db test, which has been pushed out until the 2027 season instead of the original plan to use it in 2026.

Talk about “Boost Bottle”?!🤣 That scooter makes monster-torque and I’m guessing that mega-chamber has something to do with that.
