No a ton of progress on this, unfortunately, things have been busy! I did get it out to the track a couple more times for some more break in and tuning. Made a bar swap to a different bend, which helped a lot on the ergonomics side of things. We're on a Renthal 932 FB36 now. And I also swapped the carb out to a Kehin, which required a different (Domino) throttle. That made a big difference in rideability and smoothed out that on-off power I didn't like before. Still need to tune that in some, but it's really close...

Well, someone was bound to do it! I daresay they can sell the 450 Engine package for quite a considerable sum. So, whoever did this conversion / who is selling / buying it, they get a unique 'special', at what might be a reasonable cost, by todays 'exotica ' standards. I showed these pictures to friends of mine that are much more 'Ducatisti' than I am, and, they had no conniptions about it. But, they, and I, are not 'precious' about our favourite brand of bike.

As someone who has raced electric RC cars at the top level for over 30 years (and helped start a few battery companies), trust me when I say that battery tech isnt going to shoot up in the next 5 years like they keep telling you. It just isnt. The battery companies are already stretching the capacities and charging rates to the limit. The battery everyone thinks is coming soon is 20+ yrs away.... Sorry. My worthless $0.02

I have no horse in this race, I'm still on an ICE engine and I'm purchasing a new 350 SX-F next month. However, I think we should give credit to the innovations being made here, whether we like the direction of electric bikes or not. Traditional manufacturers haven’t changed many aspects of their bikes in decades, and perhaps seeing Stark make these kinds of advancements will push others to evolve and offer options that carry over to ICE bikes. Things like Stark’s chain adjuster, CNC hubs, better foot pegs, waterproof aluminum map switches, one-piece wiring harness, rethinking how we secure...

How are you getting those hours of runtime in? The guys I raced with last year barely got 1.5 hours of enduro riding before they were out, Karlsson and Blazusiak couldn’t get 2 laps in a row at GGN last year, that has 40 minute lap times

Ever since the Alta came out we've heard, "new tech is right around the corner". That was 2017. 8 years later battery tech doesn't seem more advanced than that for mx use.

Is there any hope for a groundbreaking new battery tech in the years to come? I feel like it's been ages now with no significant progress. Might be fine for motocross doing a few sessions during the day but for enduro we're gonna need much more battery life to ride without being afraid of running out of juice in the middle of nowhere

Nothing earth shaking but a lot of nice refinements most taken from the EX model. Range and weight are still waiting on the battery tech to set the bike free.

Shit, he always has. Been listening to his race calling since like 03. I knew he was good. Always thought him and weege did an excellent job together. In many ways he and his family responsible for the insane amount of money I've spent on motocross. We got started way back in the Bremen/Calhoun Sat. Night race days!! Kevin is great at his job!
