Sucks for Lucas, but I want to see Herlings get another title before he’s done. Kenny and Jeffrey went pro in ‘09 and ‘10, it would be cool to see both of the “old dogs” get titles at this stage in their careers.

It appears that Lucas is skilled at not talking about injuries, much like Tomac. Old school.

With Lommel coming up next week and Coenen being fit by then seems highly unlikely, I'm afraid the championship's over.

He was good in qualifying yesterday. I think if he's hurt, it's from the qualifying race crash with Renaux yesterday. Heartbreaking for the kid

Every time I watch this EMX 125 class, or even the 125 class in the British championship, I'm left even more confused that the AMA pro nationals haven't followed suit yet. Great racing for spectators, a perfect introduction to professional tracks and formats for youngsters, perfect development that forces riders to maintain their momentum and use proper technique, and way safer than jumping straight from 85s/superminis to rocket ship 250s. And all with the added benefit of 125s sounding better than any 4 stroke ever will

Sacha's out for free practice so must have got the ok from the FIM doc. Now let's hope he can ride.

I know, and agree. It was trending towards Farres taking the red plate from Sacha with or without the injury. I just think especially casual American fans will completely disregard a potential MX2 title for Farres because of the injury Sacha got. I listened to RV's and RC's podcast and RV thought Sacha should stay home and let it heal for one more week because he has a healthy point lead and can afford it, i could not disagree more. Sacha needs every single point he can get because Farres is on a freaking roll.

My answer is optics. KTM is in a pretty fragile spot as a company, one miss step like a world champion hopeful’s motorcycle letting go and potentially derailing his aspirations is not a good look. But as I have stated before I don’t know.

No one's taking KTM's words seriously that nothing was wrong with Lucas's bike are they?

They went 1-1 in qualifying, Sacha went 1-1 and Lucas came from 40 - 4th with time remaining in the first moto. Not sure how it could have been better that southwick
