The first thing is jaw exercises and vocabulary enrichment, because shit-talking is key in 50+ and mandatory in some districts. Next is wallet-exercise. You'll need a fresh factory edition bike and a sweet enclosed trailer, because your days of happily loading a bike into a pickup after a day of riding are behind you. F&%k that s$*t. I raced a pre-production Gladiator in the Baja 1000 (and 500). I was impressed with the abuse the engine and trans took...like 12 hours (our stint) on the Rev limiter and shifting 15 times in every corner.

That sounds super sweet to me. Would that Be enough to make you choose to Buy a RMZ250 if you where planning to buy a 250f ? I think it would me. I raced my buddies 87 CR500 at Millville ACR in Vintage 80s Open last October. I had never even swung a leg over one before practice. It was super fun .

Broke mine in 2002. Dislocated most of the bones in my left hand and broke the scaphoid in half. As mentioned the bone has a limited blood supply which often requires pins or screws. Mine was pinned and pasted. I was told 6 months but using the bone stim helped tremendously. I was out of the cast and into therapy...
