Nice! It is crazy how much better the Gladiator looks with a nice set of wheels and tires.

This obstacle is called Jackass on a trail called Jack Handle here in AZ. 6 Jeeps and I was the only one to try it.

Oh Hell yeah that was awesome ! When we were first getting to know them and found out they were into Jeeps my first thought was how many times we've been stuck behind a group of immaculately clean Jeeps crawling through some not so hard trail with 3 guys yelling directions and pointing and giving hand signals to the driver while they clogged up the trail for what seemed like hours. Or the ones I see in town without a scratch and guards over the head lights and tail lights and 15 pairs of off road lights, racks and water cans and gas cans, deep water intakes etc that don't have so much as a water spot on them. Then the first time we camped at Ocotillo Wells together I saw their jeeps, they looked like they went through a war and when we went on our first ride together I was like "Holy shit" "You guys aint fucking around this is pretty fun" Laughing These guys are gonna be alright hahaha. They go to TDS every year. And turned us onto to cool areas out there that we never knew about because we weren't street legal. Now we have dual sports and have been cruising around together. But I have to say, (being a dirt bike guy forever) Not having to gear up when it's hot, having a cooler with sandwiches and cold drinks, and some music playing while you explore some pretty technical remote areas in relative safety has me thinking I want one. Laughing

I get it... In my case, my wife doesn't ride, but she wants to go and is all in on adventure. She gets out of the Jeep to watch when I hit something serious, but we do everything together and this is what I have found that we both enjoy. I don't intend to beat it up, but I don't hold back either... Jeep life.

I guess that the saying: It's a Jeep thing, you wouldn't understand" still holds true. We've had our Wrangler since 2011 and still love it!

My 29er barely fits with the tailgate closed. I don’t even have to use straps to keep it upright (I don’t drive like this of course lol)
Haven’t tried the mx bike, but doubt it’d fit

I have one and absolutely love it.
No. You can't load a big bike and close the tailgate.
I have personally loaded two 450's and a CRF50 in the bed of the truck with gear and everything fit but with the tailgate down.
Seems to be a lot of people shitting on the Gladiator. I can see that if you're coming from some of the other pickups that have really smooth and quiet rides like a Tundra or F150.
The Gladiator is not as quiet as those trucks. It has the removable roof and doors which make it a little noisy above 75mph and over bumpy roads. But for me, that's the compromise for having a vehicle you can strip down naked which is badass.
I compared the 2021 Tacoma and Gladiator very carefully test driving each one a few times.
For me, I think the Gladiator is a better overall vehicle (my opinion). I think it's built shit brickhouse tough and it tows 7500lbs in base form. My 2 cents. Go drive one.

And if you get one, spring for the trail rail kit for strapping stuff down. It comes with two two hooks at the bottom front of the bed but they're not great for securing the bike.

Forgot to mention on my previous post. I have never been a “Jeep guy”. The one we bought about 18 months ago was more of a curiosity deal. See them all over the place and wanted to know why all these people r driving around n off road vehicles.

So I’ve already said they r noisy, bumpy, uncomfortable etc but they r also a blast to drive.

A few months ago we took it to the grandkids birthday party where they chose to have a ride day with some family/friends outside of Temecula back n the hills. I got the idea to see how the Jeep would do around the makeshift MX track the kids were riding. I gotta tell you I’ve never heard my grandkids laugh as hard as they did that day. Grandpa blasting through the whoops, hitting jumps, up and down hills etc. The kids heads were bobbing all over tte place with laughter non stop. I figure if I did that in a “normal” truck it would have broken to pieces before I had to get it towed after it was stuck. The Jeep came through with flying colors 👌

If they made a single cab Gladiator, i'd probably own a different vehicle than I do now.

My Jeep JK is my “I’ll go wherever the hell I want to” vehicle. Kind of like a RZR but street legal and way better resale. Warmer in the winter too.

Not as suspended as well as a RZR though but there are aftermarket coil overs for it.

RBR and I are going to start a very exclusive Jeep and Porsche club. When do we get our jackets?

Thanks man. It has a factory Mopar lift (3”?) with Fox shocks. The wheels are Gear Off-road (Raid) and with 325/60r20 Nitto Terra Grapplers (roughly 35.4”)

The ride is surprisingly smooth for what it is

Is this your mates as well? A buddy just sent me this pic

No room for bike with the tire. And just for the record, I bought the Jeep that way...

My wife loves her manual trans Rubicon. Yes its noisy and bouncy, but that’s part of the charm. It’s the second most fun vehicle we own

We bought a low mileage 2013 Wrangler Sahara to tow behind our motorhome.
My normal ride is a 2020 Silverado Z71.
The jeep is fun to drive, especially with the top down if you're not putting in a lot of miles. But I will say the build quality is ok at best, actually it's pretty crappy compared to my truck.
Wouldn't want it for an everyday driver. But I knew this going in. So it works for what we do with it.

The new ones may be better quality though.

I raced a pre-production Gladiator in the Baja 1000 (and 500). I was impressed with the abuse the engine and trans took...like 12 hours (our stint) on the Rev limiter and shifting 15 times in every corner.

This is Chris Ridgewhacky...the one-footed Pirate and good-man with no testosterone lacking sensitivity issues.
X-Games Champion & "Mutli-Medlaist".
Bad Ass Driver, Rider...all things "going fast"...he's done it all and probably won IN -it- or ON -it- if he's raced it.
And...he's been a friend for many years now.

If he says it's a good rig?

Well, shiiiit...think I'll go order that Mojave I've wanted...

🤣🤣🤣 Thanks! We actually did win the 1000. Afterwards, I said this might be the only vehicle worth what they're asking for. I still can't believe it held up! We used a stock engine and transmission, still had air conditioning and electric windows (Jeep wanted it that way).

Was able to use one of these for a few days, was impressed with it, but I think I would have it lift it a little and larger tires for it to look right, just looks too long as stock
