I think he is probably really disappointed and regrets the decision to switch teams for the summer. He made no extra money for the move. I think he was more valuable before this as well. He was doing pretty well on a privateer team and had people wondering how much better he would do on a factory bike. Now we know he would do about the same on a factory bike with no real impact on his results. He will likely never get the chance to ride a factory bike again here.

I understand why you feel that way, but a properly trained (and handled) service dog would barely be noticed in most restaurant settings. The biggest problem, I think, is the fad where everyone began calling their pets ‘Emotional Support Animals’ and expecting to take them everywhere. The vast majority are not trained, especially not to the level of a true service animal. Those are the types of animals that TM is referring to in his initial post I think.

What if you get into a traffic accident? What if someone has a bigger and meaner dog? What if your dog sees something and takes off after it? There's a lot of what ifs? in life. Are we living in some backwater where the power goes out daily?

This probably sounds crazy, but he isn't going win a supercross title this year anyway, so why not keep him out until Daytona. Let him burn a million laps at the test track on a 450 just getting familiar with the bike on a sx track until March. Start very slow and ramp up the speed. If he tries to be ready for A1, especially after his knee injury, it's just asking for trouble.
