Not exactly former but the did approve his filling in at factory Kawasaki. Consistently running in the Top 10 or close to it does not suck. Back on Bubba ISRT team is still a solid team and bike for the playoffs.
He is young and could carve out a very Freddie Noren ish type of career here.
I think he is probably really disappointed and regrets the decision to switch teams for the summer. He made no extra money for the move. I think he was more valuable before this as well. He was doing pretty well on a privateer team and had people wondering how much better he would do on a factory bike. Now we know he would do about the same on a factory bike with no real impact on his results. He will likely never get the chance to ride a factory bike again here.
I didn’t think his results would spike riding a factory bike, I thought he’d do about the same as he was. He’s a solid rider, you could put him on a stock bike with stock suspension and he’d probably get the same results as he was on the ISRT Kawi and factory Kawi bike tbh. At least the ISRT Kawi team took him back, hopefully he has a spot with them for next year. He seems like the type of rider that will get better year after year, not the type of rider that will go from top 15s to top 5s. I was around him a little when he’d go to MxHeaven, he definitely puts in the work.

Or maybe the ISRT bike is better than Factory? Normally wouldn't be a thought to ponder except Jorge and Chase's actions are worth an eye brow raise.
Stop it. This is an insane take. Marchbanks had no issues putting that bike around the top 5 all summer.
Maybe he would have done even better on an ISRT bike? We just don't know.
Corndog is an XLNT rider who has difficulties putting entire motos together. Therefore overall race results as well as future opportunities suffer. Agree with the Noren comparison.
Seemed like things just didn't come together, because whenever they showed him onscreen I thought he actually looked pretty fast on the factory bike.
