A few years ago I would have said you were crazy. But now with the partnership between Feld and MX Sports I don’t see why not. I agree the teams would hate it but instead of 1 race (like Gatorback) take a 3 race intermission from the stadiums and let them race outdoors. Could hit up some tracks that are typically too hot and break up the SX season. That would be a cool way to emphasize the whole SMX part of it.

Hmm. . . Crickets from the usual Trump lapdogs on this one. Hell, even TM (who will jump in and blindly attempt to defend his guy for anything & everything) is laying low on this one.

Seeing Dylan going off track after getting cross rutted then going around a jump and rentering with the same gap he had before the mistake is frustrating. I'm of the belief that if you mess up bad enough that you have to go off the track...you shouldn't be able to pick up where you left off before your mistake.

Will it, though? AMA Superbike didn't exactly take off in popularity because of Jordan. Granted, SX is already in a better starting point to capitalize on it compared to where AMA Superbe was. But still, "normies" will just never be able to relate to this sport.

I appreciate the thought into elevation. Every podcast I've listened to this week has said it is 1000' foot lower because they just looked up Salt Lake City elevation. It really isn't that much different when you look at the exact elevation numbers between the two stadiums. If you look at actual elevation maps, Empower Field is 5200' (not the 5280' they love to claim to make it an actual "Mile High"). Rice Eccles is 4650' so it's really only 550' lower than Denver...doesn't sound like much but it makes a difference. Also with the track layout and surface being...
