Kawasaki will have a different view when it’s the second rider in two years. One occurrence they can explain as unique circumstances; twice will establish a pattern they won’t want to be part of. Ultimately they won’t want a rider that doesn’t want to race for them but my speculation is that Kawi won’t roll over as easily as they did for Prado. It might cost Chase dearly to exit early.

It’s so low-effort with the AI logo and AI facility render that it’s likely fake. If it’s true, that would be cool, but I doubt it.

For the 31 events they’re contracted for. If they get paid to do an overseas race in the off season then whatever. But if they’re paying out of their pocket to do a race for free then I feel like everyone should chip in. You don’t chip in you don’t get to jump on the bandwagon and make your patriotic ads. Like I said, I’m probably being petty about it but that is how I see it.

This squabbling every year is pathetic.The US supposedly has the biggest moto industry in the world, yet it seems nobody is willing to facilitate getting to the biggest internationa race. Meanwhile small countries attend every year without any chance of ever winning. How do they do it? Fund raising that starts nearly 12 months in advance. It's not like the event is sprung on anyone without notice. In the absence of any other willing parties, the AMA should be stepping up.

I don’t think riders should have to pay a dime out of their pocket to race MXdN. I also don’t think sponsors should be able to use the patriotic images in their ads unless they kick in financially to help fund it (not just providing product). Maybe I’m a flawed guy but it would bother me to spend $10-20k to get myself and family setup across the planet and see companies who sponsor me using those photos for ads to market their products for free.

He is the Dave Ramsey of moto training. Does his methods work? Of course but they are extremely over simplified and he definitely prefers perfection over speed.

I think modern moto should adapt. The global standard should be 30 gates. 31-40th place riders bring nothing to the table as long as we have a fragmented industry.

Thanks for the reference point. Seems weird that all these professional riders who are experts in choosing good lines all chose lines outside of the course markers that gained them no advantage. Weird. The way this rule is written should mean that anytime a rider gets off course, even slightly, and made the course longer they would receive license penalty points. This happens frequently every single race. I wonder why they picked this race to start penalizing riders?
