Elis heart and head were still in it then. Since his injury where he was nearly paralyzed while having another baby he lost the fire. Once its gone its almost impossible to get back. Same happened to forkner after his near paralyzation too. Once the illusion is broken and you realize youre mortal the cats out of the bag and cant be put back in. Ironically MXGP putting a motocross race inside a stadium is both more true to OG supercross and in line with what a SMX track should be as well. Wild

Exactly. I rewatch old SX on YouTube all the time and the track obstacles were soooo good! Track builders don’t even need to create ideas, just go rewatch old videos and use the creative stuff hah Honestly go ask Stew what his favorite track feautures were in the mid 2000s and reuse them.

This year is the first year that I agree. The other years there have been either features, obstacles or venues that were unique at pretty much every round. Even STL last year had that tunnel loop situation. I don’t understand how it’s difficult to just throw in SOMETHING super unique if it’s gonna be a slightly(barely) different sx track. Put in a weird tiered table top thing or like back to back massive wall jumps with a weird obstacle before and after? Idk anything???? It’s not that hard to come up with unique features.

Why has NASCAR viewership declined so drastically? 1. Stupid Media Rules 2. A “playoff” series created for television, that the fan base despises, ie; SMX.
