Big weekend spent in the shed working on the bike with my father. Got both motors assembled in the bikes and running. They both sound really crisp on the stand with the keihin airstryker carbs with STIC metering blocks. Really looking forward to riding them and seeing how they perform. One thing we noticed is the 125 didn’t want to try foul a plug when left idling for too long like it did previously with the mikuni. Planning on running the 250 in this week and race the both of them on the weekend if all goes to plan. Hoping...

This. I'm glad someone has found something they can make money off of, but all this new stuff coming out just continues to take more and more skill out of riding and racing. Until everyone starts beating me to the first turn because of devices, I refuse to ever buy or use one.

+1 on banning all holeshot devices. Stop trying to take skill out of this sport.

This guys love letter to Coop isn't much different than the majority of nuthugger threads others post up. He just offers up some decent advice for a young guy who has one opportunity to make a huge chunk of change early on in life. Short window of opportunity in a sport that eats them up and spits them out. Anyone seen Austin Stroupe lately?

This sport continues to blow me away. I mean, how much more of an industry shill could you be to hate on the people that support your site when they complain about big corporations throwing races so you guys can go sell your photos and rack up your web site hits. You want fans or customers, Guy B. It's a cynical as shit attitude. Have a good evening.

Wheels are laced up with new set of spokes, excel rims, bearings and a set of Dunlop’s. Carbs are together with the STIC metering blocks and new wiring loom so the tps can be hooked up. Cases are split and clean. Will post some more photos tomorrow.

First off, the guy is in the Military. Your VA and Welfare is social medicine. Same as the rest of the world. No bills. No payments, no copays. 2nd of all, Doctors get paid by the company unless its a private operation. So they have no idea how billing works. You've never actually checked into the laws. I can see that. If someone walks into an ER in America, all they have to do is make sure that its not life threatening, stabilize, treat and boot them out. I have called numerous to know the rules in case it was...

hmm wonder who tried to explain the lack of care for the athletes. I guess when one of the 10th place guys last night raced for $1200 and paid for his program to atleast make it there over this last summer he will think of that random guy that won a million who was more important then them by there industry. The even and odd scale here is just way off and this industry is fucking retarded. The riders really are waisting time not fixing this problem, there’s no other sport raking in and putting out without supplying the athletes...

A lot of it boils down to the shoe being on the other foot. When it was done to Eli he couldn’t see Dungeys side of the situation period, all he saw was someone screwed with his livelihood. Now, he sees how a simple team situation has helped his ass and the “oh that’s how a team works” light has come on!!

If I were the insurance company we would be going to court. I really don't know if Monster insures the prize payout for all three wins but if they do there should be a lawsuit. It would be interesting to know what the insurance contract says about a rider pulling over so someone can win the million. There is no way that they should have to pay that money for an obvious "gift" from Savatgy to Tomac. I am a Tomac fan but his "win" is tainted. He didn't win it, it was given to him.

Hmm, insurance companies being difficult about paying out. Say it isn't so!! Almost like fanboys making excuses for why its ok for their guy and not the other guy!

It's doesn't matter whether it cost someone else anything or not. It's rigging the outcome of a race for financial gain. Doesn't matter if it's a Championship or a Million on the line. Marv and Dungey didn't cost anyone anything. Tomac cost himself by folding like a cheap lawn chair. It's the irony and hypocrisy on Tomac and Kawi's part that gets me.

No way, a race is a race and you never help out a teammate regardless of how pointless of a novelty race it is. That’s why my son knows to not expect any favors from me in our family potato sack races. Not up in here!

84 wouldn't have pulled over for 222 or vice versa, maybe that's why they smoked us last weekend? That and its funny how all these Eli fans can make it ok fo Joey to pull over but not Marv. I guess shouldn't be surprised as they feigned outrage over Marv taking Eli out when Eli has done the same to others...

It's exactly the same thing. Regardless of whether it's a million or a Championship on the line, it's still switching riders to get the best possible outcome for rider and team. To say you can't make a connection between the 2 is moronic
