You are younger than most of the guys I know who had hips replaced. I would advise you to tell your doctor what you do with dirt bikes. Physical therapy before and after speeds things up for most people. I does depend on how bad your hip is to some degree. ... more »
I just watched the live timing today. Every time that Sexton got close to Tomac the next lap Eli was a bit faster than Chase. Then it would start again, Chase would close in to a bit over a second and then Tomac would add a half second to it. The last ... more »
I wear compression socks due to a medical issue. They are terrific and really thin.
Here is an review of the ability of the USA to generate power and the various methods of generation that are used. If you look at this also go to the uses of electric power since 1950 and the current retail uses of power. https://www.eia.gov/energyexplained/electricity/electricity-in-the-us-generation-capacity-and-sales.php ... more »
Six years is a long time and riding isn't racing. He quit for a reason and that reason might still be there in the back of his mind. I hope he does well but don't be surprised if he doesn't run all twelve events.
They have been a strange company for quite a long time. Their sales were up last year but profit was about the same as the year before. I feel bad for the new GP team manager, the employees, and the racers. The two racers will likely find rides but I ... more »
I have always thought that part of why RD5 retired was because of the crash at Lakewood. He lucked out on that crash, was recently married, and saw the writing on the wall. I hope he does okay on this two race attempt and above all, I hope he doesn't ... more »
Ear plugs are cheap. The problem is not with the box, it is okay. You need a hands on with the tools that are in there, the quality, and whether you need them or not.
The guy is pretty strange. I cannot see why he has a job with a network. I am glad we don't have NBC coverage on the main local channel every week. \

Thanks, I will see what it is in my area. I have Dish and internet through Century Link. If I dump Dish it will be for something that has local TV at least.
I went to MavTV's site. I live in a rural area and the speed of my internet connection is seldom more than 7 mbps and they say a minimum is 10 with 20 preferred. Guess I am stuck with live timing and Youtube highlights. Anything I can do?
Regarding the comments on Short and where he is going to land. Andrew may have retired right after this last Dakar. A reliable source says he is probably done. He said that right after the Dakar. No announcement has been made that I have seen but he ... more »
Blair was very good and the kind of announcer the general public might listen to. He and RC seem to mesh very well and it was a pleasure to listen to the two of them.
Turn the clock back about 55 years.
I went to several of the supermotos at Sturgis. They were held after the rally in September I think. Closed off the city street, buillt a dirt jump or two and had at it. It was great to watch because you were close to the racing and could go about anywhere ... more »
He gets starts, always has. Then fades. He rides like he has no endurance after a few laps. Heat race was that way and so was the main.
No contest on who makes the most. It is a select few of the clothing, boot, and gear manufacturers. .
