I posted a week or so back about buying a slacker tool for $100 bucks, 75 off. Facebook link I ran across. Anyway I took it out of the box today to play with it. Thought I’d check sag, hope to go to the track tomorrow if it doesn’t rain. For some reason I figured it had a max hold. Buy a set of modern 22mm offset 4 stroke take-offs and find a local machinist to open the bore on the top clamp by 2mm in diameter. You now have a way better handling bike, rubber mount clamps factory, and tons of bar mounting options...

I returned the Alpine and kept the Leatt. Leatt is way better. I have a pair of the Leat 3.0’s too. They are good but 5.0 a tick better. Just about anything Leatt is good.

This really got put into perspective for me this weekend. Saw some friends that I used to race with every weekend that I haven’t seen in a few years. We talked about old time racing and riding. Now I’m 32 and they are 28-31. I haven’t really been on a bike in almost a year and sadly I’m the only one that even somewhat consistently still rides. One tried the dual sport route but couldn’t do it consistently and the bike was just too expensive to hang on to. Another hadn’t touched a bike in years. For all of us...

I've never won anything through gambling, raffles, etc in my life. But this weekend I was the ONLY person who picked the 1-5 positions plus the #14 wildcard place perfect out of the 200k+ people who played the Rocky Mountain ATV/MC Fantasy Saturday night. So my son now has a brand new Fly Formula 2 getting sent his way. Just had to brag and also give Rocky Mountain ATV/MC Fantasy props. It felt like winning the lottery to me.
