9/22/2025 12:01pm So I put them in and it seems to be working correctly.. I’ll have to ride it to really know. But the hole on the staining banjos is way smaller than oem. So hopefully this fixes the issue. Thanks for pointing that out.

9/22/2025 12:00pm You have them. Just go ahead and try them. I had a KTM with a hydraulic clutch that would just not bleed not matter what. I changed the bleeder on the banjo on the slave thinking maybe it was plugged up, not it. Went through another bottle of fluid bleeding it until I finally replaced the bolt with another I had laying around it worked fine in like 5 pulls.

9/21/2025 8:31am Funny you say that because that was the next thing I was going to replace. I put the stock ones back in because I read the galfer bolts have issues. I guess I should try the galfer bolts since I have them.

9/20/2025 6:20pm Bike is a 23 crf450r. I am having an issue that the front brake master will pump up to full pressure and feels normal during bleeding. I’ve bled it from both the banjos and the nipple as well as pulled vaccuum through it. (Currently zip tied in the garage.) I have replaced the caliper, stainless brake line, now the master...

5/25/2025 10:07am Just a heads up, but check with your local dealer regarding sale prices on parts and accessories. I just got 50% off a WiFi tuning module and the gripper seat. I got those two parts and two more oil filters for $204 out the door. I was so tempted to also get the Akrapovic exhaust, but decided to hold off. I’m currently seeing if they will get me a set of wheels for the same 50% off deal. It would work out to about $560 for the wheels plus another $120 for both brake rotors and hardware. Edit: just heard...

4/27/2025 8:29pm The one I purchased last month had the updated mapping, the new clutch parts, and the more waterproof switch. From what I understand the ones at dealers have to be updated before they are sold.

4/26/2025 10:09pm Call your dealer, ask them to run your vin for the recall/update package… they should be able to figure it out.

3/16/2025 8:58pm Increasing preload on a lighter spring might make the initial ride feel stiffer, but it won't make it as stiff as a heavier spring. In fact, excessive preload can lead to a harsher ride and reduced shock performance over smaller bumps.

2/13/2025 12:28pm I don’t think Chase is relieved what so ever. Webb is a known commodity and will be there down the stretch. So chase needs a few more points to be comfortable and he’s going to ride like he knows it. On the flip side, if he wins, people will start with the stupid “Jett/eli were out talk”. Chase wants to...

1/25/2025 9:48am You would think so.. if he’s doing his own revalving it’s probably so far off the reservation at this point it’s difficult to even know what makes a difference.

1/25/2025 9:45am As an engineer you’d think he’d want to eliminate one variable at a time. And the simplest and easiest variable to eliminate is springs.

1/25/2025 9:44am If you have access to a dozer, that’s going to make it really easy to cut in an initial layout.. than you can put around before you put in any jumps to see how it flows.

1/25/2025 9:40am The OP just seems to want to argue that he is the only one who knows better for his bike and all 25+ Honda owners at this point. Even with real world people who have ridden the bikes with properly setup suspension. So let him keep running around in circles with clickers and oil settings. Until he gets the bike...

1/25/2025 9:36am OP - you must be very sensitive to feel if you can feel a harshness from the chassis riding through the pits. I have a 23 WE model that doesn’t exhibit the harshness chassis feel. This is coming from a slow int. vet rider. After dealing with top suspension companies in the last 30+ years, I feel confident that one of them will have good valve specs.. A few members have already mentioned a resprung & revale. My best results have been with FC. As they do a lot of R&D on the Hondas. Graeme Brough, PC, Enzo are also...

1/25/2025 9:36am You can’t properly evaluate the bike if the suspension is not set up for you, particularly springs. You are still assuming you’ll have the same feeling after respring and revalve but you don’t know that to be true because you haven’t tried it. For some reason your dragging your feet on getting the suspension set up. Which is the first step in getting a bike dialed in for yourself. Mind boggling stuff, maybe just a troll I don’t know.

1/24/2025 8:42pm Your bike didn’t like to turn because a 2.7mm shim lowers the seat 28mm not 5. Between this revelation and the 60ml of fork oil added to the showa forks I think the new Honda is probably fine and this is a you problem.

1/24/2025 1:55pm There aren’t any HRC engineers on here so I’m not sure the answer your trying to find? Number 1 thing is to go up a spring rate your comment “ SAG, yes I have run from around 100mm to about 107mm. For sure the harshness is noticeably better at 100 than say 105” is further indication along with your fork settings your undersprung and riding around in the harsh part of the travel, especially on the rear. It’s hardly fair to evaluate a bikes performance with out addressing the simple setup items that will allow you to get a real...

1/24/2025 9:21am So here is my experience… I currently have a 23 crf450RWE.. it has all the “known fixes”. For this bike. Works great at this point still has a slight bit of harshness but this chassis has a design that causes it. And the 23-24 bikes had updated “stiffer” sections around the head tube. My Akit suspension is stiff and it...

1/23/2025 7:44pm Tbh I think you’re letting your engineering background over analyze how to fix the bike… if you don’t want to spend money on getting the suspension to someone who does it for a living fixing the feel of bikes and has way more experience doing so, than ride the Yamaha as it’s probably the best stock suspension you can get...
