Front brake Master issue. (Bled every which way)

Bike is a 23 crf450r.

I am having an issue that the front brake master will pump up to full pressure and feels normal during bleeding. I’ve bled it from both the banjos and the nipple as well as pulled vaccuum through it. (Currently zip tied in the garage.)

I have replaced the caliper, stainless brake line, now the master cylinder and have the same problem.

If I wiggle the lever back and forth 1/2 inch each way a bunch of times and slowly push it toward the bar, it will lose all of its pressure. Does not matter how much I bleed the thing I can make it lose pressure.

I tried to recreate this issue on my other bikes but they do not do this.

Anyone have this happen and what did you do to fix it? I’m about to just buy another complete OEM system.

Have you replaced the banjo bolts?

Funny you say that because that was the next thing I was going to replace.  I put the stock ones back in because I read the galfer bolts have issues. I guess I should try the galfer bolts since I have them.

You have them. Just go ahead and try them. I had a KTM with a hydraulic clutch that would just not bleed not matter what. I changed the bleeder on the banjo on the slave thinking maybe it was plugged up, not it. Went through another bottle of fluid bleeding it until I finally replaced the bolt with another I had laying around it worked fine in like 5 pulls.

So I put them in and it seems to be working correctly.. I’ll have to ride it to really know. But the hole on the staining banjos is way smaller than oem. So hopefully this fixes the issue. Thanks for pointing that out.
