I decided to build a small mx track near the house. It is a small valley which looks like a baseball stadium ( flat in the middle, usable hills all around). It is not huge but not small either. Looking for suggestions on how to design it, what kind of jumps to incorporate?
Depends on your skill level, your bank account and the natural terrain. Just try to copy things you like from tracks you have ridden with the amount of dirt you have or can get
Do you own the land?
We always just kinda started cutting a path with the bikes first and then gradually add to it.

What kind of equipment do you have? I’d start with layout first. Put some cones out or markers of sort and find a good layout and go from there. Building good jumps comes from experience and a trained eye. Use natural terrain variations for features if you can.
Is there a reason i cannot post fotos?
I was having the same issues once I moved to a nicer iPhone, and the issue was I was trying to upload to large of photos so when you select the photo you want to upload in the bottom right corner, there’s two little buttons click those and switch the size of the image from full size to a medium or large.
If you have access to a dozer, that’s going to make it really easy to cut in an initial layout.. than you can put around before you put in any jumps to see how it flows.
Jumps need to be longer than bike length. If they are too short they can pop the rear wheel up and possibly push the bike up and over the front wheel.
