The DRZ is lighter and a better all around bike. Personally if I was going to spend less than $5k I’d be looking for a CRF450X. They are electric start and handle excellent plus bullet proof...

Thinking of getting a bike to ride this type of trail several times next summer, sort of wondering which way to go. Looking at getting a decent used bike to see how much I like it before jumping in head first. I think I am basically looking at choosing between a DRZ400 or a KLR650, depending on how much highway, how tough the trail is, etc. I haven't ridden off road in over 15 years, mid 50s, 6'5, 290, and have mostly just ridden my V Twin on the highway for the last 10yrs or so. 11/18/2020 6:52am How come Ty Masterpool isn’t riding SX? I can’t see why a 250 team hasn’t swooped him up? He holeshot practically every race he entered and lead almost every lap of Red Bud last year. Certainly has serious potential to win outdoors a lot more than some of these other guys with factory support rides.

Honestly it’s good Metz called them out. They have a field day with banning people for any little criticism of there track. They’re the ones pushing business away Metz is just calling them out and it’s about time someone did.
