I was going to start a new topic as he really deserves acknowledgement for what he was able to do this year.
World Champion and just one GP shy of 100!!
Bravo!

And after the Trentino round where his bike got run over, I was the first to say he wouldn’t do it. Well here I am eating humble pie! Unbelievable season, my heart was going six to the dozen in that last moto. Congratulations Jeffrey, you deserved it!

Anyone have a link to his interview?

I heard he was pulling the "Nobody respects me" card.

All he said was that there were a lot of people wondering what he would do if he didn’t win this championship. His reply? “I guess we’ll never know!”, and I found it to be funny.

Absolutely yes, the best rider in the series in 2021 and deserves 100% of the accolades. If and buts, but if he doesn't get landed on and break his scapula, this series is a runaway.

If they do not, it is at their own peril.

Good job, Jeffrey.

I would suggest that if you’re trying avoid motocross race results, visiting a motocross forum is not your best bet

He was the best guy this season. Most GP wins, Most race wins, most pole positions. He deserved to win the title, especially with how he rode today under pressure. He passed Febvre in both motos and rode faultlessly all day. He even held off a charging Gajser to win the moto and the GP when he didn’t need to. Elite mentality

How is it Nancy Negative when I wanted to see an interview? I read a Tweet that said he pulled the card, I wanted to hear it before I judged. Ever hear of getting facts before you make a judgement?

Huge congrats, well deserved title! Did it in style by passing Febvre twice today and winning both motos in style!

Such an amazing season. So glad I got to witness one of the greatest championship battles ever. Huge credit to all the riders who pushed the limit this season, it was a joy to watch. Too Febvre and Gajser for taking it to the wire. And to Herlings for bringing it home. Well deserved Jeffrey, enjoy!

After watching the Red Bull series behind the bullet, I really like Herlings and no doubt he is the fastest rider in the world! He has a lot of years left and going to get a bunch more championships!

Purely on today he deserved it, this was the pressure race and he didn’t crack. Thought the racing was nice and hard. Was more pleased that Seewer beat the wee p#$ick Prado for 4th 👌

I truly didn't think Herlings would pull it off. Congratulations, JH84!

Epic race. Best of the entire year. Awesome series. Far better than the usa nats. Best man came out on top. Overcame all the adversity, crashes, injuries, etc. Blows my mind usa “motocross fans” have no clue what just happened and didn’t even watch. Times have again changed. The pinnacle of the sport of motocross is no longer the usa nationals.

Yup! Fastest Man on the Planet, since Ricky Carmichael. Would have loved to seen RC, RV, Herlings and James Stewart compete in the AMA 450 National Outdoor Series when they were all in their primes, because There would be Blood.

Big congrats to Jeffrey! Huge props to Romain and Tim as well , for keeping this series really interesting. I think it's by far the best , most exciting season of MXGP I've ever seen. Last moto with two guys tied on points.....can't get much closer than that.

Also......the biggest congrats needs to go to Tony! 9 world championships! Incredible career. I really hope what I heard before was true.....and that was when Tony retired , KTM said they would support him long after , and let him travel around for some " Fun " races. Hoping the USA is on his schedule , just to show up for a national or two , maybe a big 2 stroke race , or something like that. Hope he has a fun and enjoyable retirement.
