Considering who he has beat, the years he has competed, 30 SX wins/76 podiums, and all the bullshit about it's all about racecraft because he has no speed bravo to him. This championship is far from over, but Webb's performance thus far helps establish him in the patheon of the sport perhaps. Make no mistake, Sexton could still win this, but Webb is in the cat bird seat. Glad to have witnessed this championship. I really think Tomac, the Lawrences, would've had a hard time handling Webb and Sexton even without the injuries...

I think Webb has big swings in motivation based on his current assessment of risk reward and the big picture of the championship and his position in it. He does not try to win every race the way some other racers do. When he is in the right position on the right track with the right setup, he will push the risk factor. When he's not feeling it, he will back off and take what's due. Call it smart or call it lazy, he seems to win when he can and its necessary.
