the lead will leave deposits over time. It is Aviation fuel and 100 low lead has 4 grams of lead per gallon, Unleaded AV gas is starting to be available but I haven't tried it. I didnt notice any power increase on straight 100LL

That's what they are deigned to use off the showroom floor. Expensive fuel likely won't get you anywhere accept poorer with a stock bike.

I'm old enough to remember Reagan's tariffs on import Motorcycles. Anything 750cc and above. Many manufacturers then came out with 700c bikes. (Yamaha Fazer, Honda Nighthawk 700.. etc) If the same holds true this time, even the Maico 700 is safe.

Maybe this will spur manufacturers to make motorcycles in the US.

American here 15% price increase on a $10k bike is $11.5k It’s not nothing. In fact, it’s a lot of money. Most Americans can’t afford the $10k dirtbike. Honestly if this effects even 10-20% of new bike sales it could have big effects on support in our sport.
