Serious question. After Earnhardts death, do you believe nascar putting in the safer walls at tracks and requiring drivers to wear more protective gear was a result of people being soft? I’m all for being tough and God knows it’s part of the reason I love to watch and ride moto, but it’s seems you equate safety with being a pussy? If there’s measures that can be implemented to prevent catastrophic injuries without sacrificing the integrity of the sport itself I’m not sure that automatically qualifies as the sissification of the sport?

So we have 9 whoops max and no dragon backs but concrete next to a rhythm section where people were crashing all night. Why not just cover the area with sand. We have nets so riders dont launch into the stands too. I dont get it.

Yeah..... we can argue about how much difference it would make, but it's absurd to argue that concrete vs not concrete doesn't matter at all.

So if a rider lands flat on his back on concrete, it’ll be the same forces as if the rider landed on a softer matting. Did you take science at school?

Wow, that was some very real dialogue Austin shared with his followers. I hope you haters have a solid support system in your life; because when you face injury, loss, tragedy, suffering (and we all do)- there's more to that journey than shedding a few tears....

Then back up your post. Explain the irony. Instead of just posting some cryptic nonsense that makes you look like a total asshat. I've never been a fan of Forkner, but would you rather he NOT post something that seems pretty raw and honest? He's been hurt a lot, yep. Bad luck, self-inflicted, whatever you want to call it, that's fine. But to post that crap after a near-miss crash that could have ended his career or put him in a chair, and his raw peek inside his head....man you must be a pretty miserable person.

Wow, I usually do not watch lengthy videos, but that was worth watching (for many reasons), thank you for sharing. I know we are all going to interpret that one way or another, but it sounds like a great time for Austin to find something that brings him joy off of the bike.
