As far as knowlege goes, yes. Mike Brown ran a PC250 alongside the 125 team one year. I don’t see Ken winning a championship, but the right rider on one of PC’s ”factory” bikes could. Remember that it’s more work to build a competetive 250 than a 450.

Winning is impressive. Hanging with one of the fastest riders in the history of the sport on your first ever 450 race is even more impressive.

The only person that was going to beat James in his heyday was James. Unfortunately it happened more than it should’ve.

You don't seem to comprehend what you read very well. Thats not what I said at all. I didn't propose that FMF just give him a new exhaust or that they owed a warranty claim. The exhaust was obviously not repacked and was damaged. I spent the last 25 years working in customer service for a huge world wide automotive corporation that has Porsche, Audi, BMW, Mercedes Benz, Ferrari and other premium brands with over 500 dealerships. Todays athletes benefit from techniques that were pushed from the people before them. McGrath changed how people rode a bike, as did Stewart etc. So now people have copied the techniques. Just because every local 16yr old in Schoolboy can now scrub, they still aren't as fast as James Stewart. So...

KTM has completely fixed this issue of hitting N unintentionally. also they have made it equally impossible to hit N intentionally.....

Rob thanks so much for putting this book out. I was lucky to be stationed in Germany in 85/86 time frame. I was able to go to Namur both years and the final in Luxembourg in 86. Best MX memories of my life. I'm so glad I got to see the best period in 500 GP MX. Your book brought back many memories. Thanks for the personal note and signature also. That was a very nice touch.
