So Honda, Suzuki, Yamaha, Kawasaki, Husky, KTM , are all the easiest 450 to ride ? At least there are no Biased opinions .

Not much of a Stew fan at all myself but- THAT DUDE oozed more talent on a hot Florida day in 15 seconds than alot of others mentioned oozed their whole careers. That guy did things on a dirt bike that blew my mind AND changed the way EVERYBODY rides to this day. 259= hands down winner take all. Game over.

Exactly. My newest vehicle is an ‘09. It’s my moto van. My dad always bought me new bikes every couple of years and I’ve tried to do the same for the past 15 years or so of having to buy them myself. In no way was I trying to brag. I don’t have fancy clothes and new shoes all the time. No nice cars. No nice bicycles. No nice anything really other than my moto stuff which really isn’t even that nice compared to a lot of people’s bikes. Pretty much always close to stock.

Oh boy the YZ 426, led me to quit riding for a couple years. It was heavy, wouldn’t start and genuinely wasn’t fun to ride. I decided if all 4 Strokes performed like this I would find another sport. I raced Go-Karts and searched for something to fill the void left from Moto for about 2 years. Then my brother got a 2002 CRF and I couldn’t believe how much better it was. I got a Honda and have been having fun since. Sorry for the rambling, but I have nightmares and possibly a little PTSD from the YZ 426...

in 2001 while I was riding a cr250 I could always count on passing everyone who lined up with one of those beast...sooner or later they would flame out or tip over in a corner, kicking and kicking till the checkered flag... lol.

It was an 85 CR250 bruh....which makes it even MORE impressive!! You've certainly laid out some very interesting mods I've never even come close to hearing about ...I'm gonna hot the Google machine about some of the things you mentioned, not for validity but bec I'm really intrigued as to what positive effects these changes would have on the bike. Like many others I owned a CRF450 from the 1st gen a 2004 and the got a 2005 after riding my buddy's 2006 back in 06. I was amazed at how much lighter and more nimble the 06 felt compared...
