There is no way he isnt tipping off in at least 1 race. And Prado will never get through the lappers at Southwick. Its not something he has really ever had to deal with much. MXGP slow guys are way faster, and way more switched on than AMA guys. To me it underlines why 'full gates' are only a good thing, if the guys are actually fast enough in the first place.

I don't think anyone, will have anything for Coenens this weekend. Of course Sacha need to stay upright. But anyone who watched Lucas and Herlings put 1min on the rest of the field a few weeks ago in sand race understands this will be Coenens show. Shit can go sideways quickly in sand, I can't see Hunter throwing it away trying to chase down Lucas. Prado might go for it but seems he need to catch up on race pace stamina at the front.

Hell yeah it works, if he wasn't trash talking the last few months the Lawrences would have beaten him by 40-50 seconds per moto. All this trash talking got it down to 20-30 seconds per moto, so it's obviously working just like Deegan planned. If he keeps trash talking more and more, he could get his ass whooping down to only 10-15 seconds per moto!

I dunno. In retrospect, Chase has been all over the board with his results the last few years, and has a reputation for chasing settings/being a headcase if it's not perfect. Prado came in off 2 MX2 championships and 2 MXGP championships. Decided the bike was trash, and wasn't going to put up with it, nor stay quiet about its shortcomings. The point being Prado had laurels to rest on that Chase does not. I'm guessing Prado felt he could speak the truth about the bike beacuse of that. If Chase shits on the bike or the team, his career...

For me it's gotta be Zach Osborne's 2017 Las Vegas comeback ride. Wrecked on the first lap, his bike pinned under another riders so the time loss was that much greater, rode like his life depended on it all the way to Savatgy and full sending it on the 2nd to last corner on the final lap to win the championship. Absolutely wild night.

You wouldn’t call Cooper Webb a quitter, or Sexton a quitter. Webb stopped racing for KTM before the end of outdoors and was on a Yamaha by the time SMX came around. Sexton last year refused to communicate with team management at KTM by the end of SX, took the first available off ramp to get out of racing outdoors, twice. They are multiple examples of similar things happening, they are different versions of the same thing. Sometimes an athlete finds themselves in a situation that simply doesn’t work for them and doesn’t allow them to be the best version...
