I just had mine done by REP. I went way overboard and had every option put in the fork and shock. It turned out great. REP has revalved 2 bikes for me and serviced my my kids bikes as well. Genuinely curious for some of you that say any 450 is down on power - please explain what you mean. Do you not like to shift? Does down on power man “didn’t lug 3rd the entire lap”? I use 1-4 gears on my RMZ450 and this bike is genuinely a rocket. It’s uncomfortably fast. Do you guys only use the first 40% of the throttle? From Charleston the closest tracks are Pineville MX, The Masters MX in Gaston, H5 MX in Manning, and Paradise MX in Fairfax. 2nd ride report. Still tons of fun. Added 20ccs of oil to the forks. That really helped. Was able to back out the compression alittle. Not much complaints here. I think I went to stiff on the shock spring and I believe I have a 4.8kg im going to try laying around somewhere. Shock just feels overly stiff and having a hard time getting it to settle. Not a Kawi guy but thought my input may still give perspective. Running a YZ250F with hi-flow intake, larger lid, 4.1 slip-on, Vortex with TD dual Injector (21-23 gen) and fuel. Had thought about maybe going to a YZ450F for the next bike. Rode the current-gen 450 back to back with my bike and it's still quite a big difference in the amount of power between the 2.
