I see Ryan Dungey being supportive and reassuring. Probably more of a “you got this” conversation rather than a technical breakdown. They have both been under championship pressure. Ryan is one of the few people in the world who can relate to the emotions Eli must be going through.

Vital complains that the media in this industry doesn’t report on slightly controversial or secret things because they don’t want to piss off their friends, yet when a media member does so they complain that he should have checked in with Eli first despite clearly having a source that (possibly incorrectly) gave him that information.

Was watching the Birmingham RDL show at our cabin. We had a few outdoor oriented friends who sat down while it was on. Two were even fellow mt biker's. This is hard to say because I really like all the content Big Lew puts out but on the LVK show I usually feel bad for Kellen. He has good opinions on most things and acts and talks very professional but Lewis jumps on him way to much as being an idiot with some of his opinions. He comes off as a jerk. I don't understand why Webb wasn't penalized based on the precedent set from the Ferry incident. This doesn't make any sense to me. Ferry should not have been penalized.

I don’t think the Ferry or Webb move deserves a penalty, but the AMA needs to be consistent with there calls, that’s where the issue lies. Same move different calls. One you could say was only a heat race move but the other was a main event move which a move in the man can cost way more points than a heat race move….so yeah…..
