But with the crazy amount of calories these guys burn riding, cycling, etc there has to be a pretty big window to eat some junk calories here and there. We see Jett eating crap in a lot of those This Is Lawrence vids. Obviously isnt holding him back.

It seems like the expectations for riders these days are crazy high, almost delusional. Either that or most fans just don't care about SX results? Anyways, Tom going to the US and winning 2 SX titles in 3 years is absolutely insane. According to interviews that's also where his main focus was, but I also definitely thought he'd win more outdoor races aswell. I think the biggest difference for him is that he went from riding MX the whole winter/year to only 2-3 weeks actual MX testing in the US. It's obviously the same for every rider in the US...

He did the same thing to us when he rode my bikes- the ones he claimed he got on Craigslist.

Expanding on that, Mitch allowed him to train on his own in Texas and the Masterpools weren't communicating with the team during his prolonged injury until they said they're ready to race 4 days before the next national. That was not enough notice to get the logistics in place to have him ready to go for them that weekend. Then Ty goes on to say later in multiple interviews that he would've returned to racing earlier but PC wouldn't let him. Prime example of why PC prefers to not let their guys just go run loose on their own programs...

Matthes said in a podcast that PC has shipped him crates so that he can send back the bike (or bikes) and they've been there for a while, but they haven't shipped them back yet.

Sad to see Tom leave. He did well in the US, 2 SX titles, some MX wins, made some $, always good on the podium, represented KTM and France very well. Wish him well in MXGP.
