aees Added a reply to Tomac’s and others shredded Tires
1/18/2019 9:22am Noooooo, have you seen a tire that has been destroyed on hard packed? Knobbies are broken off typically closer to bottom of tire, if any left at all. Unbalanced as hell, no feeling, poor traction. Takes about 10min to destroy most of it, and it does not work well ?
aees Added a reply to KTM SXF WP Trax shock
1/16/2019 11:58pm Yes the shop is full of shit if they say that is normal for a Trax. Never felt or heard a special Trax sound on my 2018 Trax on a sxf 450. Neither on other bikes with Trax I helped set sag on
aees Added a reply to Anyone know who makes carbon fiber KTM engine mounts
1/16/2019 6:00am Cooper, Bagget, Musquin, Shane. All of them uses aluminum, even for supercross. Andersson uses carbon but it could also be related to him running a 2017/18 header setup. Deano runs it to, but again, Husky has a smoother chassi compared to KTM so not really a good comparison.
aees Added a reply to Have the pros started running mx33 tread pattern?
1/16/2019 1:33am MX Extra Pirelli, 80/100-21 in front. Same/similar pattern that is on mx32, but much better grip on hard packed. Not sure if rubber or carcass is softer but something is. Was like cheating on a wet hard packed track compared to mx32.

1/16/2019 1:22am You want stiffer feel, on a bike already to stiff with a chassi built for sx and Herlings speed? ?

1/16/2019 1:20am Does not matter, no one remember who has won a single main at monster cup when a few years has passed. Can you mentioned every rider that has won a sx main and monster main even the last 10 years? Nope. And what difference would it makes right now or next 2 years if he would have kept on for...

1/14/2019 2:09am Time is reset to when the red flagg comes out. Position should be reset to when red flagg comes out minus 1 lap.

1/13/2019 12:31pm They don't last long in those conditions if you make the wrong tire choice. Hard as f**k to ride with no knobbiest left = no traction, tire unbalanced etc.

I think Matthes tweeted that his rear tyre was destroyed at end of race and that probably explains his lack of forward progress towards end of race.

1/11/2019 8:31am 130 USD, 17 rounds + monster cup if you signed up early. That is $7.6 for 2-3.5h entertainment every weekend if you include Race day live. It is not even one beer per weekend.
aees Added a reply to Glendale Supercross Track... Who does it favor?
1/11/2019 3:44am Hill and Reed, Brayton as well. All very technical riders with perfect timing. They know how to get an extra inch out of those long lanes.

1/10/2019 5:41am On PC you can select resolution? Try 720 instead of 1080p or automatic. It is a format error at least on Supercrosslive when you cast from PC.

1/10/2019 1:09am Then it is not the same as TS... No need for VPN if you have supercrosslive subscription. Specially no need for alt location if you have supercrosslive.
