11/23/2018 7:09am If you are a US citizen, as in this case, the only thing that is free is the direct emergency treatment (life threatening). Basically as soon as you are moved outside the emergency room, you have to pay for. If you where a european citizen visiting another country within EU, it is normally free to the same extent as in...

aees Added a reply to Broken Collarbone, plate it yes/no?
11/22/2018 2:12pm 15 years ago there was no plating, 8 years ago they plated everything, now doctors say it is a 50-50. From a functional perspective, it is so much better to plate it. The only concern with surgery today is if something goes wrong and that risk is so small i dont think it out ways the benefits. Just sleeping is...

11/22/2018 2:04pm PLATE IT. I broke mine 8 weeks ago. Immediately after surgery i had full range of motion, strength, and no pain, no sling, no therapy. Others i talk to who broke theirs complain of pain and annoyance of being in a sling. Literally a plate simplifies recovery.

11/22/2018 5:40am Plate it, no reason to not do it today with the good plates. Old plates brought more issues. No reason to go and not be able to use the arm for 6-10 weeks until the bones have healed. With a plate you can use it for lighter stuff like carrying food bags, bicycle riding etc.

11/21/2018 4:25am Suspension can be deceiving in a way, example: 107mm sag, bike does not turn (understeers) 102mm sag bike does not turn (oversteers, but feel like understeer) 98mm sag bike turns, but suspension feels like shit 105 sag, bike turns, suspension feels good. Same with fork air pressure, 180-200lbs: 165psi, bike does not turn (understeers) 140psi sag bike does not turn...

11/18/2018 6:32am 45 rear spring, 105 sag, 15c 15r, 1.5-2.0hsc. Fork 148-155psi, second line, 15C 12-15r. 42 rear spring you need to stiffen comp up but you should be far off on sag with a 42. Also with your heihht, you might like a 48. 98mm sag and 138psi is so far, something is not right in the post above.

11/16/2018 1:45am Ever heard of Eurosport? And you think $110 is expensive for a season package of MXGP including EMX, including MXON? Maybe quit riding man. Start an electric class? Which vendors would be in that one and put up money to race a class? Alta that has no cash? Wake up. The streaming always works flawless, in HD without shitty compression...

11/16/2018 1:40am MXGP is broadcasted on Eurosport, biggest sports channel in Europe.... Add to that coverage on other channels globally. And the TV package is priced a bit lower then SX in USA and it contains MXON and much much more video material then SX-package in US. Seems to be a shit show with how YS started it all, but, again, if...

11/15/2018 1:31am I hope we now follow enduro and ban tear-off. As a first step ban it for practice. If i where a track owner i would ban tear off for practice. In 5 years ban it for racing also, or that you could have 1 tear off for starts on top of your roll-off system. We need to be proactive if...

11/14/2018 9:59am If you run into a regulator that knows what he is doing you are screwed, and it is fraud (if you of course say you broke it at one location/event, and it was in fact another).

11/14/2018 8:22am I think you are one that will learn the hard way if you think you can remove gear and transport yourself from the track before medics arrive. I had multiple fractures, and you are freaking not moving an inch before morphine is in the body if you break a major lower body bone. Besides you committing insurance fraud, that is...

11/14/2018 6:52am After you get morphine for starters. At that point it's already to late since the first or second point in the notes from medics are "removing protective gear on track/location". Or you carry morphine and syringe to track yourself?

11/14/2018 1:14am A lot of talk and comments what not to do and how bad the system works. How about some people write a reply that actually have a solution for proper insurance practice and racing MX? Write what it cost and what insurance company and possible limitations in that insurance.

11/9/2018 11:23am yes the lower tubes are aluminum and require frequent replacement. You can rent 2 fork pairs in the new program (think it was 10k per year + service). But general WP service centers are not allowed to service them, only WP themselves in Cali and Austria.

11/7/2018 6:40am Three types of riders are the right one going forward, in terms of earning good money and teams looking at value: 1. The "in discussion" for a title type (and speed) 2. Second rider on factory teams (podium guy) 3. The fan type (personality) 1. Is the guy with both (ex Roczen maybe being the only one right now, potentially...

11/7/2018 6:29am If he put the work in, he or Tomac would be battling for title. There is no one right now that has both speed and consistency in SX and i think RD knows that as feels it would be worth gunning for it. Would love to see Husky grab him
aees Added a reply to XACT in Cone Valve out!
11/6/2018 12:21am I don't think there is anything new to the Xact? Just switched names. If anything, it might be they are considering putting cone valve forks, or a version of it, on newer SXF and want to leverage the name cone valve to sell bikes.
