Yeah, they knew it, both reacted.... but, they know they cannot in front of the cameras!

I want the 327 to be good soo bad, the hype has been crazy and it looks sick! But, I think it's gonna be a pos. It sounds like shit in all the videos and seems slow. Plus it's heavy. I hope I'm wrong. Looks like Kawi still has some work to do and they're pushing dates back...

For riders looking for an easy to ride bike it will be great. For anyone looking for a fire breathing monster will be sorely disappointed imo.

With an ECU, efi, tps, and electronic powervalve, the timing and mapping are all adjustable to tune however mellow or aggressive a rider desires.

Time will tell. Just a gut feeling.

The Euro price is almost 30% more than the US version? When I converted Euros to USD it came out to $11,648. Are they required to give OTD pricing or something?

Backfire?

Sounded like a ( Bloody Loud ) 'Clack' of the E Start mechanism engaging, to me.

I hear all sorts of weirdness from varying bikes with regards to starter mechanisms, and a couple of mine, their starting noises vary from start to start. And well, my POS E start on my CRE, well, that can deliver some frightening noises - I use it as little as I can - Panthera Products : Caveat Emptor!

I've few mates waiting on their 327s ( I've no idea when they get to OZ ) - I hope to get a ride the day they get them.

This would be my first new bike purchase since I've been alive. I'm stoked.. but hear a lot about add on fees, bend -over fees, etc.. if the mx version is selling around at 9100, what should I realistically look at as far as dealer funny money added on?

Biggest difference is if you pay sales tax or not. $800 freight, $400 assembly, $200 bullshit “document” fee, $900 sales tax.

+$2k in fees real quick if you’re in one of many states with sales tax.

Hey mate, just wondering where you found that profile picture?

I don’t care but, that’s my unfinished “toon” and I never uploaded it without the flag on the helmet I don’t think?

Sorry for the thread hijack.

You should do more art stuff. Reminds me of Curt Evans stuff but a modern twist. I gave you a follow on IG.

Will dealers let you assemble it yourself? They never do it right (grease linkages etc)

no. Liability reasons I’d guess.

If you have a really good relationship with a dealer they might let you take it in the crate but it’s very uncommon.

Shouldn't the mfg make sure they grease such points (steering head even) at the factory?  The dealer doesn't connect the linkage as far as I remember.  Maybe if a good PDI person did all these things the dealer would pass on an even higher set up charge.  Maybe some buyers would pay for that, most won't.

A dealer isn't allowed to deliver a unit to a customer in a crate for liability reasons.  If they do it, they are risking their franchise, so they must really trust/like you!

Lots of places will ship a bike in create direct. I've bought a couple from babbits that way.  I have zero hookup or relationship with them.

They will, but they first uncrate it, do the PDI, then recrate and ship to you.  Or at least, that is what they are supposed to do in those situations.  I've done it that way at a dealership before.

If not, BIG issues with the OEM.
