I thought he was too, but just posted another story saying "retirement bod loading" alongside some ice cream. So looks like he may be done
I remember when James Stewart touted him as the next big deal.
for people that dont have insta, this is what op is talking about

What a shitty deal all around. If he still lives in Bellview, he could always go MTBing at Santos.

DeCal Works Huge Plastic Inventory of UFO and Polisport kits.
I think he’s trolling. Aden Keefer just made a similar post.
As a fan, I hope this is true. I'd like to see him get one last shot, and maybe the Honda will work well for him.
Santos is awesome, we camp there often in the winter.
It’s a joke. He’s racing 😂
The kid is legit, so he could very well have been if he'd managed to stay healthy. His last race at Loretta's, he finished within a knobby of Jett.
Jalek won the High Point National in 2001, but since then injuries have taken their toll.
25 years is a heck of a career to hang your hat on.
Will be relaxing in that machine shop for him with the ice cream breaks. Sweet new gig he's got.
These guys have to love how far, wide, and fast a simple troll post on socials goes...
If the kid could just stay healthy and build on a couple of decent seasons he'd be able to do something; I'm really hoping to see him do well. He's won nationals, and you don't luck into that.....
Don't know where that "machine shop" is but damn, thats a dirty fuckin shop with some dirty piece of shit machines. Place is probably named: "unprecision machine", inc!
*2021
Whoops!!!!!! Sorry, I meant 2021, but that was probably obvious. Old age is starting to creep up. That was the first day Juneteenth was celebrated as a national holiday. 06/19/2021.
I'm guessing you haven't been in a lot of machine shops.
Welcome to the real world. There's worse than that.
I don't know how you're coming that conclusion.
The machine to the right looks older, but if well maintained, it can still make precision parts.
The blue machines in the background look newer.
The wood benches and pedestals are always going to be dirty. They're making parts out of metal, and raw metal isn't delivered perfectly clean.
What would you expect?
You can build benches out of metal and cover them with something, then recover them occasionally, but wood is going to get and stay dirty.
I don't see a bunch of crap on the floor. It seems the benches have simply been in use for a while.
It's unfair to judge the shop by the wood benches. Let's see what kind of tolerances they're holding.
Pit Row
The only time my shop is even halfway presentable is when there's no work coming in, and I have a day or two to clean it up.
That shop photo shows the patina of production.
What kind of shop do you have?
