Who cares? Chase is not going to amount to anything other than a could have been. If I was a team I wouldn’t want him coming around making my bike look bad.

That's alot of down votes for something that is literally showing to be more truthful then not.

I like how a 450SX, 450MX, MXON and 2x 250SX champ is a "could of been". Those are lofty expectations

There's a lot of racers out there aspiring to be that sort of "could of been" 😂

Those titles may have been his career peak, Chase was expected to dominate many more titles, that "could of been", but then Jett moved up.

Does in mean anything that Prado could barely qualify on the KX then goes on to win races and championships a matter of months later?

The race sexton went to was basically in his hometown, minutes away from where he lived and had a track in his yard before moving to florida. I promise you his sponsors didn't care one way or the other if he was there.

The winning 2 races thing as being evidence that the bike is fine is hilarious to me. Jett won 4 outdoors this year, does that mean everything was fine? Both achieved well below their ceiling and it is silly not to consider the causes of that.

People are over-thinking this.  The bike just doesn't work for Chase, like it didn't work for Prado.

So a guy who pretty consistently wins several races per year and is typically in podium contention for nearly every single race goes out there on the Kawi, wins 2 races, and is pretty far off podium pace for almost every other main event he participates in, but you don't think there's a slight chance the bike has anything to do with it?

His first year on the KTM he won 2 SX races in a very similar season to this one actually

Kenny, Cooper, Hunter, Chase have all won titles since Jett moved up.

The Supercross and Motocross titles Chase won, were after other riders who were leading the championships suffered injuries, he didn't dominate.

Here's how it went-

Honda: Fastest

KTM: Best Results

Kawasaki: Dogshit

Why the down votes? Where's the lie?

Every day that goes by into the silly season it’s more and more unlikely Chase is leaving Kawi.

Good or bad results, I think it’s good for Chase to stick it out and work through it, and break through this reputation of leaving.

Maybe he went to Europe to ride the new Kawasaki. I raced 4-1/2 months after an allograft, it's possible.

Hopefully CHASE silences his critics in 27, much like Prado this year.

Gotta give PRADO credit this year, good SX, good MX, great SMX.

Chase is so sensitive to bike changes, everytime he's changed manufacturer so far he's had a throw away year. If he changes again, I hope he goes back to a bike he rode before so he doesn't have to do the process all over again and waste another year. If he gets on a brand new bike, I think it will be groundhog day 3.0. Pre-season testing the bike is awesome and everything is perfect  in the best world possible. Then after A1, all the pre-season testing was basically useless and they will be testing until salt lake city...

The Jett factor played a big role in all of those championships, in one way or another Grinning

Like I had posted a couple pages back.  He was actually liking the KTM when he left. He unfortunately, already had signed the contract for Kawi. It was too late.

I was at Ironman for his final outdoor race on the KTM.  He didn't look too stoked to me...

Come on, man. That bike malfunction that's only ever happened to KTM bikes on that specific track could have happened to any bike on any track

I guess those titles dont count then. He had the most points when the series ended. Period

I think Malcolm will make him better on that Kawi and help Chase with his set-ups.

When Cooper Webb couldn't buy a win on his KTM, Malcom rode his Husky to multiple podiums and a 3rd in that series. He is consistently in the top 5-7 (when not injured) and is the 1 person that never complains about "the bike", he sets it up and rides the wheels off of it. Then Tampa 2025 comes along and he chases down Chase from way back, blitzes the whoops like nobody's business and makes the pass when Chase goes down (although that night he was gonna pass him anyways).

I think with Marchbanks and Stewart, Chase has an opportunity to ride with 2 guys that "just ride the bike'

Malcolm and Chase are the same height. Malcolm is just out of shape and fatter than Chase. The Kawi only works for heavy riders?

The guy I was responding to stated that he was liking the KTM when he left.  Based on what I saw at Ironman, that is false.

was that the same team switch where he didn't even say thanks or goodbye on socials when he left like most riders do?

hypothetically speaking here, but if he wanted to "go back" is there even a seat open anywhere? And if there was, did he leave on great terms with mutual admiration expressed on both sides?
