Contrast his 1-1-1 GP weekend vs  so many other guys somewhat fall apart and manage their title clinching days, sometimes fading/nursing it all the way back to say 10-15th just to get the minimum points needed.

Dude is a badass for sure. 

While injuries may have cost him a few championships, I think he takes too much heat for staying down in MX2 too long. 

KTM was winning everything with Cairoli in MXGP and they kept Jeffrey in MX2 beyond his expiration date to keep winning everything there, too. Not the dude's fault. He's one of the greats.

Happy for the bullet, One of the all time greats with speed to burn!  Lucas was not in it due to a crash, as we all know. The Coenen brothers are fast but the crashing is the penalty of always pushing the limit. I don't want either one of their career's to run the same path as James Stewart but if they don't slow down that is exactly what is going to happen. 

Seeing him ride from trackside instead of watching on TV is special.  He looks better on the Honda than he did last year on the KTM.

  He is visibly faster and more aggressive than everyone else. Guys who have not been to an MXGP need to see it in person before Herlings retires.

I just wish I could have seen Herlings and Coenan race each other person before Lucas got hurt, now we may never see that again.

KDW and Vialle are the only guys on the horizon that can come up and challenge him in the next three years.  Will TiGa or Febvre regain their form?  Huge opportunity and question marks on how much longer he wants to do this. Like Tomac, Jeffery exceeded my expectations on the new bike. Unlike Tomac please don’t retire.

Febvre is 34(?) years old so i doubt he can challenge him. But Gajser should be able to do it again, he is 2 years younger than Herlings. But the Yamaha move has been a disaster. I think KTM should do whatever they can to get Gajser to sign for them.

So.. that another what, 2 or 3 properties he can buy? Odds he hits 100 next year? 😁

Best is a little disrespecting to Cairoli and Everts, those dudes hauled for over a decade straight and won title after title against some unreal competition.

Cairolis 2010-2014 run on a 350 is probably the most dominant run in MXGP so far. Cairoli also still holds more premier class wins.

In an Dutch TV interview he said he lost 4 championships due to an injury while having a big points lead. 

The way the bullet is riding i can see him getting real close to 10 , yeah i know injuries can happen but man he is just another level right now. With no coenon and gajser just not jelling with the yamaha, fevbre on a ducati it wont be hard. Unless the young guns like vialle, dewolf and maybe farres can surprise its going to be the herlings show for a minute.

Tiga is Dunge to Herlings RV. No disrespect.  Dunge is my all time favorite. RV was the man, though

KTM singed Renaux for next year, it would be cool to see Tiga on a KTM, or get him a STAR bike for next year.
