Don’t we have a pretty good record with 125/250F guys moving up for this race…?
All things considered that’s a solid team. Good opportunity for Hymas and Kitchen who are probably likely to be on the team in the future.
Love seeing Webb on the team and he was in his best form on the KTM years ago so hopefully the Husky treats him well! Glad Tedder can afford to send their bike since Star was unable to.
I am also pretty pumped to see Hymas on a 450!
I don’t care where we place. I respect this team just for going to support their country!
When, if ever was the last time a “privateer” was on the team?

Based on the talent of some other teams, ie: Spain, France, Holland, Australia, and Belgium, I'd say that a top five would be a great pat on the back for them.
Remember, Jo had a pretty good showing on a 450 last year. Why not Chance. It was mentioned somewhere that Chance has been riding a 450 at the I'm Lawrence compound.
Nice swan song MX event for Coop.
Give ‘em hell boys!
No RJ Hampshire??!
Coops love of country shows all the time...not just for MXoN. A true stand-up dude.
I like this team.
Good luck lads. Looking at the entrants i see six strong nations with chance of podium. France, Dutch, Belgium, USA, Spain & Latvia.
My pick would be
Liking this team! Let’s fucking go!!!!!
Who is doing to have the throwaway moto?
Glad that's settled. Now we all from every country going can move on to talk nationalist shit about the race outcome, like every year! 😀
If things go well they could absolutely podium IMO. Of course the US is not the favorite, but every year there is a favorite or two that has problems and ends up finishing much lower than expected, so you never know. Kudos to these guys, wish them the best! I only think Spain, France, Belgium and NL will have stronger teams, and all have big question marks (except maybe Spain) so a top 3 finish is not crazy with a little luck.
I think Levi has the potential to win the MX2 class. He is used to getting a shit start and ripping through the pack, which is the most important skill in this race for MX2.
Chance could have a sneaky ride like Jo Shimoda did last year. He is really good at slick hard pack tracks and elevation changes.
I LOVE Hymas on a 450. His technique is built for it. He's a Lawrence clone technique wise. He's just smaller and probably lacking the strength they have right now
The AMA Honda, the GP Honda, both outstanding bikes…. Chance will have a ton of support with setup on that track. And he’s at his best on hard pack.
Webb should tell Tedder to ask for KDW’s back up GP bike. It will be better than anything Tedder can do in this short period of time. He’s never been off the podium at MXoN. That says a lot.
Kitchens PC bike will likely be the best bike in the class…. And he is showing he can pass. Hopefully we just need 1 good finish from him and I think he can put a single digit score on the board.
They are podium contenders. But if none of the top teams have trouble, I think they go P4.
JMHO
Agree with your first two points, but the PC bike being best in class? Have you seen the GP Triumphs and KTMs?
Pit Row
I'm stoked to see how he looks on a 450. If he does well, HRC's going to have a really good problem on their hands deciding whether to move Jo or Chance up as the third guy.
Do you think the GP Triumph is wildly better than the AMA Triumph? Or is Farres just better than Forkner?
Kitchen is going to have his hands full with those guys, but it won’t be because the bike is lacking in my opinion.
I don’t think Levi will have any significant bike advantage.
Hymas on the 450? Anyone know if the Honda 450 is any good?
I do the the GP Triumph is better than the AMA bike; it’s still relatively new and being developed and they have more freedom to make changes in the GPs.
I don’t think Kitchen will be at a disadvantage bike wise, but he certainly won’t have an advantage. The PC bike will also have to tuned to run different fuel.
PC won't have development with the sound requirements and fuel used there.
Significant? No, not saying that at all… but I still think that no other bike will be better. Again, jmho.
I’m chain smokin Marlboros and only listening to Alice In Chains to manifest a win.
Ok, when I first saw the AMA Team USA announcement, I didn't know what to think but . . . after thinking about this team I really, really like their chances! Three different riders on each team and 3 Moto's. Anything can happen
Thank you to Cooper, Levi, and Chance for stepping up - we are all behind you, Men!
I don’t know the legality of it all so please excuse my ignorance but is Webb allowed to test the Husky while he’s still on Star?
He will have almost no testing time with his current schedule.
If I were him I’d be sneaking off into the woods just to log some laps 😂
If a tree falls in a forest and no one is around to hear it, does it make a sound?
I was never a Cooper Webb fan in his prime days, but after he went to Matterley and rode the 250 when Deegan backed out the last time, he has grown on me massively.
This year i will root for team USA just for the lineup of riders. We know that this is not a winning team you are sending, but it is a team with riders that are doing it for the right cause and that is enough for me.
I’m so happy that Hymas got to go since he got hurt the last time he was in for it.
