Haiden is always saying "I'm trying to put an American on the top step of the podium."
Ummm.....no the fuck you're not. Always saying he loves America but every year it's a damn excuse. Just stop saying anything about America at this point
So when GP riders want to race against AMA riders, they get their manufacturer to contact US teams to get help organising a bike ie; like the Coenens? Or Herlings? Or Van De Mosdyk and so on, and on? Great - that proves it can be done.
So what's stopping Dodgerboy from talking to Yamaha Europe.? The bike would be set-up ready for FIM regs and would be ready to go; it'd probably be easier than taking a Star bike.
i dont fully agree, but i get it, the US series has gotten very full. and while prior schedule had just as many usually those 3 extra werent in contract and were spaced out through the off season
not only that it was possible that Davies and Minear couldve been going pushing the team to pack out for 4 riders not just 2
Star is not going to let their riders race a bike from another team that is different from their bikes....just like KTM wouldn't allow the Coenen's to race an AEO KTM bike in the US....still a KTM but different...

So let me try to understand all the haters, you hate the racer Deegan but you would love for him to race the MXoN?
They want him to race so they can keep talking crap when the US loses. I think that is their main gripe at this point.
Why is everyone making this about deegan? His team wont send bikes ,they do enough for the sport financially.
because it's easier to be a problem finder than it is to be a problem solver....
Funny now Webb barcia and rj say they will ride mxdn if needed on social media comments. Seems like if they want to go they will make it happen
How about Luongo or whoever is in charge not make a profit on the MXoN and all the income just for this one race is shared with all the teams.
Why is everyone complaining on Team Yamaha, and Kawasaki not wanting to attend because of the large amounts of money to cover all costs.
People need to complain to the MXoN people getting rich off of the backs of racers, teams, and countries.
But they are sending bikes to WSX right after mxdn? Lol
the whole excuse that the bike needs to be tuned for FIM fuel tells you the real truth. Tim Gasjer is riding with a Star racing engine in MXGP for some weeks now, so they are lying their asses off at Star / Yamaha USA. I wasn’t inpressed with the Yamaha USA ethics before (LL Deagan bike claim drama) but now we learn that wasn’t an incident but overall their modus operandi. About time that Yamaha japan steps in and hopefully when they do, they don’t forget their European operations as well.
Coop says he'd go. How does that work? Would he already be on Tedder bike or is he saying he'd pay the fee? Not a great look for Star
Beaton 450, Jake 450, and Charlie 250!
valid point because you bet the Luongo’s and FIM fill their pockets with the Nations event.
What are the rules for nations? Say if any of the Star racers wanted to still represent, would they be able to do so on a different bike? Is that considered a breach of contract?
This is the post I was referring to. Everyone should go read the comments on that post from other top riders
No chance that happens. zero.
Pit Row
I do not doubt it. Just curious if there is anything binding contractually that would prevent a rider from doing so. Star or any other rider/team for that matter.
Just vitards being vitards and complaining is all they know.
If Deegan wanted to really gain fans, he would step up and pay Star to race the bike and represent America. Regardless of position if he went over there and rode his ass off the stock would rise. He does not want to go. If he did, Star would go. Simple as that..
Check out RJ’s comment
I mean obviously I can't quote verbiage but there's usually wording about riding a motorcycle other than the one supplied by the team.
Sucks for all the guys on that team who want to go, especially since it sounds like they're bringing bikes to the UK for WSX. Convenient for the one guy who doesn't though.
Either way, I'd personally much rather have our team full of guys who actually want to be there and are willing to step up to the plate. Of which it sounds like there's no shortage.
My guess - rider could pay the 25k rental fee to star.... then pay all other expenses (mechanic, travel expenses, etc)... so it could be done.. but this isn't about the money.. it's about cringe lord being scared of racing the euros...
I'm in if Tim Cotter delivers it to my house!🤣
Been a while coming, but MXDN has officially dropped below the threshold on the priority list. I kind of get it with all of the other paying races, but it's a shame that this race is the one on the chopping block in the powers that be eyes.
RIP MXDN. Officially just another GP.
Fk me, it's hard to like this kid, even though I really want to
He could have a easy win trying to win the fans over, all he has to do, is step out of his $10m mansion and put his hand in his pocket
Win or loose, he would gain some respect from the fans, which currently it's not in abundance
He can talk about America all he wants, and he can wave the American flag all he wants. There is nothing hypocritical about that at all, and it isn't your place to tell him what he can and can't do. @mooch was already proved wrong on that point, and this may come as a surprise to many here, but racing a single one-off race a year does not in any way prove or disprove one's patriotism or love for their country. If you and mooch and all the other Deegan haters are so patriotic, then you should respect Haiden's freedom to wave the American flag and his free speech to say what he likes.
But you don't. You want him to shut up and not wave that flag. So let's be real; Deegan is getting shit on for not going, but he'd get shit on for going as well. Plenty here have already said beforehand he doesn't deserve to go. If he did go and didn't win, half of you would shit on him for not winning and laugh at him for getting beat, so despite what you say, every week when Haiden is trying to beat those Hunter brothers, he is trying to put an American on the top spot.
Team GB had to pay Star for letting Anstie ride his bike at Matterley. Don’t know if riders like Davies would be in the same situation this time that they could use the bikes if they pay/rent them.
But as we all know regarding Deegan, it’s just a cover up.
I’m happy that he won’t be there and taint the best event of the year, but I would gladly have seen the other riders from Star there.
