My bad, I misread the title. I’ll take the L
Glad he’s giving it a whirl
Wins 450 national pro title in 2020, wins amateur race last week, and gonna be top 20 this weekend at dilla #neverchangeAMA
Would this make him a pro rider? 😎

He should run the 338
Anyone who is such a down to earth nice guy, but can still pull off 'that' pass when a title is at stake, gets my vote.
Zacko IS moto pure and simple....and good dude to boot
Just a cool story to follow. Sounds like he is having fun.
Zach was great on yesterdays Moto 60 show. Wants to qualify top 10 and place I believe top 15. That's a realistic goal. https://pulpmx.com/podcast/show-371-unadilla-mx-2026/
The snack pak era. 🤙
I think that's 5 spots high on both accounts, but close. Qual 15, finish 18-20.
Are there other sports you can be a pro one week, amateur the next, pro again a week later..etc. Seems unique to mx but maybe I am wrong..
NBA, nfl, mlb, nascar, NHRA/IHRA. Basically every sport.
I believe "pro-am" sorta like the SX-Next series
Savatgy should put in his entry. It's probably his last shot!
NASCAR, drag racing don’t care because skill not biggest factor..
But with NBA, NFL, MLB, etc..where can you be a pro, then step back and compete against people who want to be pros on the biggest amateur stage, then step back up and be a pro?
Right! Someone else must have it otherwise that's a no brainer. The real 338!
Yeah, I was being sarcastic. Davey lets them in so…
I don’t really care but it’s fun to sandbag.
Little League Baseball.....
Any college sport......

Watch this entire interview with Zach and tell me you're not a fan?! Dude is just genuine and cool.
This happens at almost every tournament in professional golf with an amateur in the field (sponsor invites, specially qualified from a different tournament, or they Monday-qualify in). Nick Dunlap won the PGA Tour event in Palm Springs in 2024, but had to forfeit the $1.5M in winnings because of his amateur status. 😵
So Scheffler can drop down and play a bunch of amateurs one weekend then back up to pro?
We are not talking about someone trying out a pro tournament- we are talking about someone who turned pro, won championships and then went back to a top amateur event.,.
Nothing to do with being a pro then an amateur. They allow pros to race at LL in a couple classes and with some limitations. Not complicated.
We are talking about someone who turned pro, won championships, had a chronic injury, retired, got healthy, took a job as a brand ambassador, started riding and got back in shape, and now races high profile events as a brand ambassador.
That was my number in 1975! KRW helmets would add your name and number back then as you see in my avitar. I still have it after all these years and it is way cool to see it on ZO's bike. I have looked throughout the years to see who else had it but didn't try too hard as life got in the way. Really awesome to see it. My pro career lasted one year after a badly broken thumb at my first pro race in Bruceton Mills, WV.
I personally don't care what anyone races….But its not something commonly done in sports. So it’s ok to question the logic..
I guess we will be looking for Tiger to join the next amateur golf tournament..Same scenario as Zach.
So many pairs of bunched up panties here that it's starting to feel like a Victoria's Secret.
Wait a second guys if LL is only for pros then explain open pro sport
